2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (23961) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 15, 2004
[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A hazy yellow beer with no head. The aroma is simple - just coriander. The flavor is sweet with notes of coriander and other spices but not enough to hide a clear note of alcohol - a surprise in a beer of 5% ABV.

Bottled. Pale yellow, cloudy. Obvious seville orange aroma.
Rich, flavourful nose.
Nicely rounded sweet maltiness, more bold than is common amongst witbiers. The finish is unfortunately rather empty.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (9195) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2006
Bottled. (blue bottle) Almost clear, yellow-golden beer with a small white head. Citrus, yeast, spice and fruits in the aroma. Sour flavor with lots of lemon and orange. Some spice, barnyard and yeast as well. A bit thin and fizzy body. Lemony finish with some spices. Not the most successful wit I have tasted... (060809)
