Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 Bottled. This blond ale was better than most other Belgian / French blond ales. The yeast taste was fortunately not present, which gave room for the fruity and spicey notes. A good refreshing ale and relatively "clean".

Malty and very aromatic fruity and yeasty with pleasant spicy notes. Slight acidic finish. Doggythedog (1020), Split, Croatia Jan 21, 2008 Bottle courtesy of and shared with ozujsko (thanks!) Poured a dull hazy orange-gold body with a big thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Intensive aroma of oranges and yeast, quite Belgian. The taste is suprisingly pleasant as well. Again the pleasant notes of orange, a nice, herbal fresh agrumey hopiness, as someone said before, reminiscent of some pale ales. Some dry spicey notes, a touch of yeast near the finish and a lightly hoppy aftertaste. A nice surprise and a good light belgian style ale.
