Golden coloured. Vanilla nose. Very softly malty. Sweet with notes of honey and a lingering balsamic finish with a fair bit of bitterness.

This was really a surprise. I bought mostly as a joke for the "after-ski" season that just started. This light-amber ale was a real "winterwarmer" full of malty body and a nice blend of bitterness in the end.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2007 Bottled. Hazy orange coloured. Aroma of caramel and vanilla, really liked it. Malty quite complex flavour. Didn’t expect to find a quality brew during a holiday of skiing, but there it was.

Slightly hazy orange amber color, short white head. Strong caramel aroma, some vanilla, very nice. Nice caramel malty taste. Bit sharp palate though. Excellent brew by a good French brewery!

Lots of yeast, orange and coriander in aroma Fruity and spicey taste A very pleasant beer that goes down without difficulties. And as "pilsnerrogge" says: a few more % would be nice to with the sweetnes

Amber color and white nice head. Aroma of fruits and spices. Palate is spicy, caramelly with clear notes of vanilla. Finish is beautifully swe-e-e-et.
