2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 RichardGretton (3759) - - JUL 31, 2004
Plain looking amber ale with a generally dry aroma that has a touch of malt finish. The flavour is quite odd as it dry and whisky like. Overall quite a poor malt whisky style drink.

Ricordo della sciata in Savoia...birra sicuramenta maltata, caramello, carbonazione giusta, corpo un pò esile. Finale leggero amaro ma con il malto sempre protagonista

27/02/2011 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 1/12/11 (2011-73) Thanks to Klaas for the bottle!
Clear amber to copper red beer, off-white soft head, little adhesive. Very faint aroma, some caramel, some hops. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: caramel, herbal and vegetables, a little fruity, even towards exotic fruits (pineapple). Aftertaste: little hop bitter, some citrus. In all a pretty faint beer, more like a "Piste Verte", one for beginners.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 13, 2009
Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!). Poured a dark amber, brown/orange body with a medium sized slightly off white head. Brown sugar and banana in the nose. The taste starts of sweet, malty, orange and caramel, sticky, maybe banana again, and comes into a sudden halt when the light but crude and kinda unpleasant dry (hoppy) bitterness shows up in the aftertaste, ruining a lot. Ok, but nothing special overall I guess.
