Light golden color with a small white head. The taste is sweet and artificial. Kind of watery.

Cloudy orange/yellow with a small white head, some sediment. Sweet malt aroma with some fruit and some spice. Taste is rather sweet, honey like with little hop or spice, but the higher abv is well masked. A little sweaty at the end with some bitterness. Easy drinking but not on par with a lot of the great Belgian Strongs out there.

A very fresh tasting beer. Lemon, pepper, malt flavors. I really liked this one.

14/II/2012 33cl bottle @ Klaas’ place - BB: IV/12 (2012-127) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, small creamy head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, oranges, orange peel, some alcohol. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: pretty fruity start, ripe tangerines, general bitterness, alcohol, little sugary, touch of passion fruit, almonds. Aftertaste: some marzipan, malts, orange peel, bitter ending. Not too bad! I could do some après-ski on this stuff. ;-)

Bottle. Deep golden colour with a short lasting white head. Acidic aroma; citrus and a touch of coriander. Soft maltiness. Becomes sweet as it warms. Sweet, round flavour of honey, spiced with coriander. Perhaps a bit too sweet - it can get a bit too much. Light bitterness. The high alcohol percentage is well hidden. Very interesting flavour, although I don’t think I’ll ’get hooked’.

Bright amber. Sweet, candyish malt nose. Nice hoppiness in the body, sweet with organic notes and a touch of alcohol. I don't know, I don't like knocking a beer with this reputation, but nothing admirable stood out in my sample.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Darkover (1448) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2006
Hazy bronze color with a small beige head. Aroma of coriander and a little citrus. Flavor of coriander, spices, citrus and sugary sweetness.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 TChrome (1328) - Bedford, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2004
Beer pours dark golden with a relatively small white head that completely dissipates. Aroma is sweet with notes of honey, pear, and a little yeast. Flavor is initially spicy and the finish is fruity and clean. Good, repeatable, not great belgian strong.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 JCW (1272) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2003
Very light golden color. Creamy thin head traversed the glass. Light, yeasty. What a summer brew. Fruity, candy like. I think I could knock back a few of these on a hot summer day. Cheers Per

Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is of citrus, earthy spices, and yeast. Flavor is of orange, lemon, coriander, and yeast. A slightly bitter finish on this one. A very interesting brew, not bad but not that great.
