2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 shintriad (700) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 26, 2007
What the...? Is this apple cider or a Belgian ale? That’s all I detected in this thick, sugary brew. And the particles suspended in the glass might be interesting but I found it a bit disturbing. Not my bag, baby.

Light golden color with a small white head. The taste is sweet and artificial. Kind of watery.

Bottle: This beer pours a cloudy gold color with a white, fizzy, diminishing head. Dominant aroma is alcohol along with scents of sweet spices like cinnamon & nutmeg. Also noticed was a hint of grape. The carbonation is pretty strong making this brew rich and sweet. I didn’t like this one because in all that sweetness I felt like I was drinking liquified dryer sheets soaked in bowling alley wax topped with a dollup of saddle soap all covered by a horse blanket. In my humble opinion, I think the French should stick to making great Bordeaux’s and Côtes du Rhône’s!

Pours a slighly hazy gold color with a white head. Aroma of malts and spicy fruits. Flavors are malty and bitter sweet, some dry fruits and spices. A little dry finish

[Bottle]
This poured a nice orangish golden color with a very nice head. The aroma right off gave that is was a Belgium then I got a underlying off smell Metal. This was too strong so when I gave the first tatse it was a good belgium ruined wtith a overwhelming metalic taste. The metalic taste was hard to shake. I hope this was just the one batch and the rest are ok. I will try again one day.

Blond beer with a small head. Hop and yeast aroma. sweet malty and spicy taste. The alcohol is not that well masked.

Golden coloured. Fruity aroma. Very sweet and boring flavour. Rather light bodied.

Bottle looks not so good, too complex. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Fiery-alcoholic aroma. Starts malty dry, complex sourish-fruity and much too alcoholic. Soapy-alcoholic finish. Really not good!
1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - JUN 10, 2004
Honey sweet amber ale with Belgian notes. Creamy mouthfeel and a herbal bitter finish. The sweetness is crude - the mouthfeel is bland, fat and oily - only the herbal bitterness keeps this beer drinkable, and even that becomes like chewing lavender after a while - interesting at first, but the initial interest soon fades as the perfume starts to saturate and irritate the palate. This is an ugly bastard of a beer. Cloyingly sweet. Crude alcohol. Bland, oily mouthfeel. And irritating perfumed herbs just to rub things in. The more you drink the worse it gets - and I kept drinking in the hope of it getting better! The bouquet is the only decent thing about this abortion.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 ronaldtheriot (447) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - AUG 29, 2010
Yeti has a thin, beige head and a very cloudy, gold-orange appearance, with suspended (and unknown) particles afloat in it. The aroma is of sweet, cheap candy, and the taste is of some sort of chemical, gummy substance, with an overly sweet and sickly back-end flavor. Mouth-feel is medium. It finished unsatisfying and sickening. I did not like this and would not ever have it again.
