COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tart! Apricot spice aroma. Not much in the appearance category. Flavor is very enjoyably tart, notes of grapes. I want one more bottle, very interesting beer.

On tap. Hazy golden colour with a nice white head. Caramel, yeast and light citrus in the aroma. Average to high carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium sweet and light dry and bitter with fruity and spicy notes. Overall, nice refreshing beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Jolie couleur blonde et nez assez plaisant point de vue céréales. Cela se gâte en bouche où je ne trouve pas d’autre chose que le malt, le sucre et une légère amertume en finale. Pas trop mon truc, Olivier !

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A sparkling golden orange beer ; bubbly, a lot of small bubbles ; medium white head with a medium retention ; lacing ok. Biscuit nose, candied fruits, caramel, light fig, herb, light citrus. Medium sweet, round, light dry bitter, lightly refreshing, light lasting acid. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, sweet warming finish. Overall, ok sweet rough toffee ale.

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. BBF 04.14. Light hazy golden, little bubbles. Nose is rotting milky malts, insecticide, rotting esters. Taste is esters & spoiled lemon, sugar, light vinegar, caramel. Watery & lemon acid body. Really flawed, this cannot be just the age. Not good.

Bottle from the Captain Pub, Annecy. Well, this is a local beer, and when in Savoie, do as the Savoyardes do (although there are few if any locals around and most people are drinking Guinness, but I digress). Dark gold, almost clear. Not a lot of visible carbonation. Light honey and maple syrup aroma. Strong sweet honey taste with a slight souring reprieve kicking in halfway through the sip. A bit messy this one.

For the style prob any worse beer I had in France. Taste more like a lager with alcohol flavors. Not good at all. Not malty. Not toasty. Bitter like a pale ale lager. Pass for sure ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Huge, very dense & fine yellowish head over hazy orangey-golden beer. Sweet nose, with initially quite some vanilla, then more vegetable, spice and a certain acidity suggested. Sourish vegetable/fruity taste; some citrus, but also a bit of vinegar. Pickles? Some toasted malts, not sweet. Acidthinning, light body. Production artisanale? That’s a nice way of saying it tastes like homebrew. Merci à Mathieu!

Bottle from a Deli in Samoens, France. Pours golden with a white head. Not much aroma. Some yeastiness. The taste starts sweet with spice, citrus, butterscotch and a little vanilla. Pretty good.
