Draft and bottled. Pours a nice opaque chocolate brown color with a small tan head that quickly disappears. The aroma and flavor has roasted malts, milk and dark chocolate, earthy and herbal hops, a splash of dark fruit, light nutty notes and wood. Medium bodied, easy drinking with a dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of DrSilverworm. Thanks! Pours a dark brown appearance with a brown head. Anise, quite roasty, big dark fruity, plum/prune, dark chocolate aroma. Sweet dark fruity, raisin, lightly roasty, dark chocolate, a touch smoky, caramel, grape, plum, cherry, molasses flavor with a fairly dry finish. Not a big fan.

Poured from 12 ounce bottle bought at The Party Source. Very dark brown color, small tan head, fine firm roasted malt aroma with vanilla and fruit notes, very nice rich malty flavor. My only criticisms are some astringency and a little too much carbonation. Still, a very worthwhile brew that I’m sure is even better on draft.

Dark beer with some cola colors when held against the light. Short lived frothy brown head. Big sweet malty nose. Lots of molasses and dark caramel sweetness with roasted grains, pit fruit and an almost smokey finish. Nice big malty beer.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a 1/4 inch light tan head that fizzled away quickly. There’s a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like dark fruit (prunes, cherries, red grapes), roasted malt, caramel, and a bit of chocolate and coffee. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma, it tastes like roasted malt, dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, nuts, and coffee. I do think the aroma is much fruitier compared to the taste, in which I think the bitter flavors are stronger. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit thin for a Baltic Porter, but also smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, it’s definitely worth trying. $11.99 a 6-pack.

Draft: Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is prune, malt, dark fruits, chocolate... cherry... Taste is more of the same, tart and sweet... very nice.

Bottle thanks to DrSilverworm from free beer week. Pours a dark brown/black with a large tan head. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, toffee, caramel, and slightly nutty. Taste has some dry up front hop bitterness and nutty roast falling into chocolate and molasses. A pretty nice Baltic Porter.

Bottle shared at Hunaphu Day. Clear deep brown pour with a thick white head. Aroma of dark berries, plums and cherry, toffee, espresso and earthiness. Flavor is dark fruit up front with toffee, roast and chocolate through the finish. Medium bodied with hidden alcohol. Not bad.
