thin, sweet and insipid blonde. watered down, slightly grainy pavlova-barney banana flavours vanish into hop pinprick.

A nice quaffing beer. Widely available in Belgium.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is moderately yeasty (dough, sweat), lightly malty (toasted grain, cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers), with light notes of alcohol and bubble gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic. Medium body, watery (almost syrupy) texture, lively carbonation. Sugary sweet, boring aroma (and too yeasty), dead appearance. Extremely disappointing...is Alken-Maes to blame?

Good beer, I thought it wouldn’t be like this. Better than I expected.

A beautiful gold coloured beer. Amazingly beautiful beer actually. Could have been the brilliant weather, who knows. It has a very gentle fruity aroma. The taste is bitter-dryish with a wee bit of something sweet. A good blond beer.

Super gold colour and fine full head. Sweetish aroma with drifts of something tropical, maybe pineapple? and/or floral. Balanced sweet-bitter flavour firing up quite a bit of the mouth and tongue. Pleasant dry hoppy average length finish. A fair Belgian Blonde in my book.
