2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JorisPPattyn (6728) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 12, 2004
Clear golden beer; virtually no head, some lace only. Caramel, roasted, laurel in the nose. Oppressive alcoholic-caramel taste, quite dry, white candi sugar. Dry, alcoholburn, thinnish. Horrible mass-produced stronger ale. The individual notes seem OK, but the total is way below average.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maeib (6634) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2006
Bottled. A blonde coloured beer with a nice white head and decent lacing. The aroma is yeasty and lemony with peppery hops. The taste is very yeasty with more lemony flavours. Spicy and peppery. Quite a short finish but decent enough.
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 FatPhil (6207) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 5, 2008
250ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Looks like a lager - where’s the yeast? Bold slightly sour sweet
fruity aroma, grapes, or more like a cheap low-alcohol wine. Yeaugh!
This is a mess. Cardboard. Sour. Solvents. Bleaugh! Is this even an
ale - it’s more like a cheap strong lager with its mucky gluey esters?

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 DonMagi (5599) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2005
I am not a fan of blondes or triples, i just dont dig them at all. Pours good golden, lasting head. Aroma is buttery, with sweetish yeasty notes. Taste is better, citrius fruits(orange and lime), good sweetness goes with soem fresh hops and a balanced finish. Suprising here, very easy to drink and far better than most blondes.
