3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Grapey aroma with slight sweetness and spiced belgian yeast in both aroma and flavor. Clear, dark golden with soft white. A great blonde with interesting gape character and subtle alcohol notes.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gold with a creamy head. Mildly bitter, butterscotch, some spices. Well balanced and enjoyable, better than the sweeter leffe’s of the world. Medium body, medium finish which is more sweet and dry

Una belgian ale per antonomasia. Di bell’aspetto soprattutto, con qualche nota di demerita per l’aroma, ma tutto sommato una buona birra

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
250ml bottle served in a Duvel tulip glass.
A: Pours an absolutely clear golden yellow color forming a medium creamy and bit soapy white head. Medium persistence and lots of lingering and molasses lacings left in the glass
S: Sweet grain. Fruits and bready Belgian-style yeasts. Notes of honey. Very light flowery hops in the very end
T: Follows the notes. Sweet and malty upfront. Caramel malts and bready yeasts. Notes of honey and candy sugar. Light bitter end
M: Medium body and carbonation. Sweet grains and bready yeasts in the aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Average Belgian Strong Ale

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2014 Bottle (250 ml). Clear bright golden with a small fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, moderate fruitiness, grassy notes and alcohol. Taste is also quite yeasty and fruity with light herbal notes and alcohol. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Warming finish. A tad boring and the alcohol isn’t well hidden. Subpar Belgian (Strong) Ale. Not easily drinkable.

Not a spectacular smelling blonde, but it's very smooth and balanced in taste. Mildly carbonated that goes well with the mild taste.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig en fris zuur fruitig, ananas, sinaasappel. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.
