Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is deep brown colored and pours a cream colored head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is roasted malts, dark and dried fruits, some hidden hops and spices, and a hint of caramel. The taste is medium bodied with a nice balance between bitter and sweet, with some nice tones of raisins and some caramel. The finish is light bitter and full. Nice one, not the best dubbel, but this beer I would like to drink again.

Deep dark brown with a fine lacing head, malty sweet nose reminiscent of a malt drink, with candy sugar and faint plum notes. Rich, honey-sweet and fruity, with caramel and a lightly dry edge. Decent.

Cerveza de color marrón con una cabeza de color blanquecino. Aroma frutal, a malta, lúpulo y con notas de alcohol. Sabor afrutado y amargo, buena combinación, excelente cerveza.

Bottle. Pours a typical Dubbel. Aroma: nice sweet mix of plums, bubblegum, hint of nutmeg, hint of sour. Nice. Taste is relatively sweet: taffy, hint of cream, hint of coffee beans, honey, roasted malts. A little too sweat for my taste. Aftertaste is sticky and relatively dry.

Long time ago since I last tasted this so this rating is based on old notes; deep chestnut brown beer with medium off-white head and sweet taste of caramelly malts, biscuit, candi syrup, little hop bitterness, metallic and artificial feel. Very industrial, too bland and too sweet for my taste.

Brown/dark amber with medium yellow head. Bitter taste with some touch of sweet, bit carbonation. Carbonation acidity on the tongue tip. Some remaining bitterness.
