Pours a dull mahogany brown with no head to speak of. Malty aroma. Dull, warm flavour with an alcoholic tinge. Not impressive.

Had this from a bottle in a Belgian pub in Antwerp, excellent caramel tasting brown ale. Beautiful head. Excellent beer for dark, cold and rainy december nights

Bottled 25cl. It pours a nut brown beer with a small beige head. Honey, candy, vegetables, caramel, cherries and metal in the nose. The alcohol is rather present. Gluey with hints of burnt sugar. Honey, caramel, vegetables, hay, brown sugar, wax and candy in the taste. Not much lacework. Sweet malty. Low bitterness. This beer reminds me a bit of vitamalt. Some dates sneaking in. Metallic. Unpleasant sticky components. A hint of onion in the finish. A huge dissapointment.

Bottle shared with Mes @ The Royal Harbour Brewhouse, Ramsgate. Copper with a beige head. Earthy malt, cane sugar and caramel aroma. Taste is sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Pretty boring overall.

Bottled. Pours clear and dark amber with an off-white, foamy head that disappears fast. Lots of carbonation. Nose of malt with notes of nuts and fruit. Sweet flavour with caramel and malt. Watery palate. Medium bodied. Little bitterness at the end. Disappointing.
