Amber with creamy brown head. Nutty/caramel & light yeast aroma - very nice. Medium mouthfeel - dark fruits & light sweet malts. Very pleasant. Little thin palate & brown sugar notes.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Oakes (10191) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2007
Clear, dark garnet-accented brown. Demerara, old rum (sans booze), plums, apples in the nose. Sweet, soft body with mellow sugars, dates and a hint of vanilla. More rounded and complex than any other filtered dubbel I’ve had.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bu11zeye (10165) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2006

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2006
330ml bottle from Franglais, Calais. Ruby colour with bubbly red/ivory head. Cereal, toffee and boiled cabbage/broccoli aroma. Bit thin on flavour in mouth. Pasteurised, some boiled sweet. Some dryness on end. Some more toffee. Not much of interest unless you like boiled broccoli.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2006
Bottled [BB 06/2006].
Dark ruby brown, medium-sized tan head. Sour milk, malty nose (bottle is too old propably). Fruity, typical low quality bruin with raisins, nuts ... and cardboard. Very metallic flavor. Don’t be fooled with Alken-Maes who calls this "Cuvëe".
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 argo0 (9226) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 31, 2003
(draft) Clear ruby-dark brown, with big tan head that lingers. Aroma is sweet, dark fruit (plum), rich. Tastewise, sweetness starts up top and while it diminishes, it never goes away. Light raisin flavor is insufficient for this reasonably big beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (9196) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 10, 2006
Bottled. Clear, reddish brown with a small beige head. Mild aroma with dried fruits and caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel, fruityness and raisins. Medium body. A bit too sweet I think, but a decent beer. Too commercial as well. (060908)

Botella. Thanks for sharing Pinball. Sweet dark malty aroma. Deep dark brown colour. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with dark malts, dark fruits and a bitter sweet finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thewolf (8626) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2007
Bottle @ ChristianScheffel tasting. [thank you, BeerBiker]
Pours a nice deep brown with a rather small off white head. Aroma is great, toffee and caramel based with some Belgian sugar as well. Nice creamy palate. Flavour is sweet, but maintains a slight roasted/chocolate background as well as a tiny dash of hops. Well-balanced - and generally a good Dubbel.
