Draft. Poured a clear red-brown color. Head was thick and off white with good retention and lacing. Aroma and flavor were of yeasty bread dough, subdued clove, and a touch of chocolate. Great beer.

Bottle. My same comments from the blond: I was worried about it tasting mass-produced but I was pleasantly surprised. A good bier I would order again. Nothing special but a good quality option.

On tap at Mort Subite. Pours red/brown with a tall off-white head. Dark fruitty with a soft spicy nose. Woody and earthy in the hops that pair well against the plum, chocolate, and bread flavors. I wish they sold this in the US, I really enjoyed this one.

Very dark brown, very small and quickly dissipating tan head. Nose is sugar, raisins and yeast. Taste has a lot of caramel sweetness, malt, yeast and spicy notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium to thin body. Tasty.

Pours brown with a caramelly maltedness that is easily accessible. Nothing that particularly distinguishes this beer from the rest of the pack.

Sweet - like unfermented sugar, though it looks beautiful with it's dark bold redish hues. To me it seemed under hopped and cloyingly sweet. Some belgian fruity esters come through. Smooth easy drinking belgian ale.

.25 cl bottle, brought back from Belgium. Clear, beautiful, garnet brown with little to no head. Slightly sour aroma with a little funk and sweat, raspberries and yeast occurring together as rich and full in the nose. Sweet initially with molasses and brown sugar flavors, some tart fruit and berries mixed with floral hops. Medium body, round in the mouth with creamy carbonation.
