COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cintra black beer is a Munich Dunkel type of beer, produced with natural ingredients according to the German Purity Law, such as malt, hops, yeast and water. It presents a dark color with red traces. It is a fresh beer, less filling and dry, even though its taste is rounded and well balanced. It has a slightly fruity aroma with hints of coffee and chocolate. Its foam is intense, creamy with a high sustainability and lacing formation. The alcoholic content is moderate, thus its freshness and less filling taste yield moments of pleasure one after the other.

Dark lager - Schwarzbier. Dark brown colour, even tan head; cream, caramel, toffee and dates aroma; sweetish taste with cream, toffee and roast aromas; bitterish finish with burnt, liquorice and cream aromas. Has an excellent dark malt aroma. A little less impressive in the mouth, but with a strong roasty finish. Really not bad at all. I don’t understand why the brewery call it a Münchner. It’s way too roasty and much more like a sweetish Schwarzbier. The beer is brewed in Portugal by Drinkin, a subsidiary of the Brazilian Cintra Group.

Bottled Dark brown in colour, quite sweet but not too cloyingly so, didn’t quite know what style this was when I tried it in Lisbon but certainly one of the better beers tasted, just noticed it was Brazilian I hadnt even realised this when I had drank it.

Bottled. Very dark brown, brief head. Metallic aroma. Sweet, rounded and clean. A little roasty with a hint of coffee. Empty finish. Very simplistic.
