COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alibi is a daring splice between the old-world German style Mai Bock and the crisp, clean brews one expects from Bavarian and American Lagers. Borrowing from its Bock lineage, the complex malt characteristics really come to the surface, delicately harmonizing with lightly hopped German Pearle. A beer for all occasions, you won’t want to be the last one without an Alibi.

On tap at the Black Star. Pale yellow pour with a frothy white head. Sweet, bready malts. Lively carbonation. Hops are subtle and citrusy. Drinkable but thin.

Tap. Clear golden pour with a decent white head. Aroma was toast and sweet malt. Taste was mostly sweet with a hint of bitterness.

On tap at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a small white head. The aroma is honey and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a citrus and wheat flavor. Easy to drink a decent heller bock from Circle.

Deep golden color, trans... but a little hazy. The aroma comes off cool and I really can’t smell anything save a little cereal grain sweet wih sugars. Tastes like you should be on the Guadalupe river with true friends. Leave that phony guy off the invite list. The taste has all the German malt pilneress it should and in a good way. Fortunately the flavor is less sweet than the aroma. Very carbonated bite, fizzy and bubbly. Malty with straw. :he hops fight for recognition. Who loves barley at Circle? Well it is an Heller Bock afterall, yes... "an" Heller. Prosit!

On tap at the Highball in Austin. Light pour with a white head. Aroma is light citrus and grain. Not much there, but certainly pleasant. Taste is lightly toasted, very bready, and some dirty hop spice. Nice finish.
