Semi-Seasonal - Fall to Spring. Nightlight is a full-flavored beer that expertly balances that richness with lightness in body to create a different type of Stout. This Dry Irish Stout may look intimidating, but after one sip, you notice the difference. Representing a wide spectrum of roasted and oaky flavors, this not-too-bitter brew engages all the right senses, but leaves you with the stomach for a second round. IBU: 32.4

Slight roasty malt aroma. Black in the glass with a cola colored head. A bit more roasty and chocolaty than Guinness. Overall, not too bad... thanks Kevin!

Yep, black... As a nightlight. Hmm, okay. Anyway, it has a pretty billowy medium Brown head, smells very English. Aroma of heavy roasted malts and a touch of coffee - all tucked in by a smooth, malty body. The mouth feel isnít thin nor thick and makes this much more drinkable than if it were the latter. Where this is heavy is in its rich flavor and following finish, although the roasted richness doesnít stick around for the party, the coffee sure does. Itís creamy, slightly sweet and not completely dry. Hints of cocoa come through in the finish as well. Better than I expected, drinkable, and unoffensive. A good Irish dry stout thatís somewhat well balanced and easy on the palate.

GABF 2011. Listed as "Moonlight Irish Stout". Black with a small frothy tan head. Aroma of dark roasted chocolate grains, and a nose of typical dry dark stout. Flavor of the same. Dry, dark black and chocolate malts. Too-mild sweetness, too burnt, and bland.

Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a dark brown with a small frothy tan head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and smoke. Thin mouthfeel with light roast coffee and a nice smoked dry finish. A good dry stout from CBC.

My favourite of the Circle brews .. . Pours a dark robust brown, decent foam .. . light tar and chocolate, with a great dose of roast .. . has a decent mouth to it, you could say its made for the texas heat .. . Is it a yes or a no, because youíre kind of holding up traffic here. Itís just - itís rude.
