3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 TrevorFloyd (309) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 14, 2006
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was on sale so I grabbed it. Insane amount of head on a gentle pour, thick like meringue, and a lot of sediment in the bottom that came rushing out at the end. Hops and yeast are what stuck out to me, and even though I prefer mine malty, this went down nice. Might be good on a summer night; it’s light and refreshing, but in no way weak.

(07.03.06) One pint, 9.4 oz brown bottle from Bierkraf, , Brooklyn, NYC. Poured hazy golden yellow with average white head. Soft carbonation. Fruity aroma. Light-to-medium bodied ale that starts dryish with citrusy grapefruit flavor. Finished dry with light hop bitterness. A very good drinkable ale. Enjoyed with beer-loving family members during the 4th of July weekend.

12 oz. bottle- Pours cloudy orange with again lots of carbonation bubbles, the head is a little thicker than the whales tale pale ale, and lacework is excellent. Aroma is fresh clean hops, somewhat fruity. The flavor is a hop forward blonde that is somewhat sweet. This is possibly the best blonde I’ve had, I am beginning to think that these Cisco Brewers know what they are doing, too bad I will probably never get to try any of their other brews, being from Idaho, really the only Massachusetts beer we get around here is Sam Adams. Thats whats cool about the beer club, you get to try beers that are not in your area.

750 ml. Bottle. This beer poured a cloudy yellowish-orange color with a thick long lasting head. There is a lot of carbonation in this beer, maybe too much. This is a good, hoppy, wheat beer which is delicious. I would definitely try this beer again.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2004 Disappointing considering the brewery. Cisco's brews are meant to club you over the head and make you submit the wonderful powerful tastes, this is very mellow.

Almost "Wit-ish" in color; Huge rocky head. Nose was grassy amd citrus. Good crisp hop upfront. Slightly soft mouthfeel.

Bomber from Vintage Cellar. Pours hazy amber gold with a creamy/foamy off-white head. Aroma is citric, almost like bergamot. Near med body. Firm carbonation. Flavor is bitter citrus, hint of perfume, and it seems a bit wheaty rather than caramel. For a golden ale it’s got a lot going for it: ABV, bitter, nice tang in the finish. Very good.

Grassy hop aroma, gassy too from the excessive carbonation. (Will they ever figure this out???) Light pale malt flavor, crisp full hop flavor with a dryish finish. This is blonde ale by the english definition, not the american. Aside from the carbonation issues, right on.

The good news is that there's good head retention, the bad news is that, when the pour is 95% foam to 5% body, it makes for a slow pour. Off-white head atop a hazy yellow body. Aroma is medium sweet, citrus hoppy, some floral and spicy. Taste is medium sweet, spicy, light citrus hop. Finish is spicy citrus bitter. Medium body, quite tart and nice crispness.

Nice somewhat hazy blondish coloured body with an orange tint and a super-large off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, fresh high a.a. hops, peaches and some light yeast & caster sugar. Medium-bodied; Nice strong hop flavour up front with a good amount of pale malt and a pleasant fruity characteristic towards the end. Overall, a good beer - one of the best in the style i’ve had. Aside from being a bit over-carbonated, it was a nice beer to try! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from a liquor shop in Haddonfield, New Jersey by Phil (haddon90) sampled on 25-December-2005.
