750mL Bottle into a wine decanter. Brett A nose, with cotton, cobwebs, dried wood, and some dark cherries. Palate is immediately dry. Flavors come up with submerged spice, umami-like browner malts and twinges of ash. Fluffy, well-structured, but missing a certain depth. I think it’s the complexity and range of the funk for me. Like the other Cisco sours, I certainly and very much appreciate the more Belgian soft sourness, but they also lack the overall complexity of the traditional styles, something likely owing to time. Finishes on a distinct dusty oxidized hop flavor.

Aroma soft, light alcoholic warmth with brown sugars, oak, vanilla and roast. 7+
Appearance brownish black with medium top. Rings of lace.
Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. Chocolate, rye with slight tartness. Mid mellow. Finish with heat, hop blende with cocoa. Interesting.

tom’s bottle, thanks for sharing. Dark coloured with a dark lacing. Complex aroma with a fruity edge. Taste like a shiraz wine, and also fruity, edgy, rum and coke, edge from the cranberries, other dark fruit. everything adds to the complex taste, yet smooth and drinkable.

Chestnut pour with a small eggshell head. Aroma of tart cranberry, oak, vanilla, Brett, and cheese. Lots of dark fruit, dusty wood, burnt caramel, clove, nutmeg perhaps. Just didn’t mesh well for me...seemed messy and disjointed.

Bottle, from Luke’s Liquors. Good aroma, tart. Cranberry, minor funk. Dark orange, brown color. Ok head, little to no lace. Sour flavor. Medium body Creamy mouthfeel, tart dry finish. Good, cranberry leads the way. Decent sourness, quite tart.

22 ounce bottle that poured a light brown color with aromas of cherries, oak, and some funky tartness. Taste is tart cherries, wood, and some toffee flavors. Thanks for PaulUnwin for the share.

Aroma : Great cherries with light sourness. Nice brett and barnyard. Some horse blanket too. Really nice fruits.
Taste : Nice brett, quite funky. Rather woody with a bit of oak sourness. Finish has lots of brett with nice fruits. Light acidity and sourness.
Overall : Very interesting. Sourness is rather soft and is balanced out by the fruity notes. Nice brett with great funky notes. Nothing special for a sour but a rather well balanced one that is not extremely sour thus a bit more drinkable.

Thanks to PaulUnwin for sharing this one. Pours a light brown with an off-white head. Nose is wood, malt, vinegar, tartness, and some sour cherries. Flavor is a bit of caramel with some sour cherries, oak, and vinegar. Interesting fruity tart sour. Light to medium in body and a finish like cherry and oak.

750ml bottle. Pours a very deep opaque brick with beige head that leaves a ring and pool of lace. Very different nose. There’s a big mint chocolate feel to it with some sour and woody notes. Lightly sour of the palate with that mint chocolate feel following through. There’s a fairly faint taste of cranberries and rum. Finishes with a long light sourness.

Dave got this for me thru a trade, thanks! Definite Brett and fresh wood nose with some smokeyness. Bitter and wood taste with some leather and dark fruits. Dry and wine like. Good job Cisco.
