COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

Totally adequate brew. Looks and feels on-style, but the flavor and aroma are somewhat muted.

Interesting brew. Very evident perfume aroma and to some degree, taste. Sweet, ginger ale, hibiscus, 7-up. A little watery but something different for sure. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy gold in color with a small head. Aroma was citrus and spice, but really mild. Taste was really pleasant. To use a word from the description, it was "zesty".

Very fruity, zesty aroma and even more so on first taste. Light bodied, dry finish. Doesn't linger much on the palate.

Bottle picked up for mom while she watched the girls. Really a fairly true to form witbier with some nice clove-like spice with a full mouthfeel but still very refreshing. Nice.

[Bottle] Cloudy yellow pour with about an inch of white foam on top. Notes of cinnamon, yeast, sweet wheat malts and lemon in the nose. Flavors of sweet cereal grains, lemon zest, fruity esters and lighter grass notes. Medium bodied. Not bad.
