2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is more of a ginger beer than a Belgian white. Herbs and floral aromas, tons of ginger on the nose. Taste is crisp and zesty, like an herb garden mixed with copious amounts of ginger. Overall, too much ginger for my taste.

From a bottle. Pours hazy gold with some particles floating around and a fizzy bubbly white head. Tastes like spice, dry pear and apple, club soda, light herb and citrus. Light body and low carbonation. Smells floral and like sweet herbs, cookie malts.

Can. Nose of heavy coriander and lemongrass, pours hazy pale yellow with a creamy, dense bright white head. Light body but not watery, touch of bread, lots of lemon juice and lemon peel, very smooth with supporting crispness, thankfully not coriander soup, but with a very distinct herbal-floral character that piques the interest and draws in for more. Zesty Snapple-like tea note, clean, super refreshing!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cleaning off my phone, these are tasting notes from my August 2013 Asheville trip. Pretty unexciting wit, golden, cloudy, heavy spice component in the flavor as well as some citrus. Average.

Sample at Great British Beer Festival 2014. SLightly hazy golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Yeasty orange aroma, grassy, citrus, some floral notes. Bready yeast flavor, oranges, hay, spicy notes. Ok but not more.

Bottle shared at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14.
Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is floral, spice, citric peel, marjoram.
Taste comprises lemon rind, spice, bready notes, orange.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok for style but nothing I’d rush back for.

12 oz bottle: Pours clear, light yellow-gold with a white head. Fruit and lemon aroma. Yeasty, lemon/citrus malt taste. Interesting but not a home run to me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12th August 2014
GBBF Day 1. Bottle share. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp and semi dry. Minerals. Mild malts. Nice lemon that reminds me of Earl Grey, but I guess that is the power of suggestion and association. Touch of orangey basil Light crisp finish. Very light and tasty.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can - looks pretty good - hazy gold with a frothy head - very dry and kind of uncommon for a wit - it’s a spiced wheat, all right, but it tastes like sage, clove, white pepper - not much else going on character wise aside from the strong spice character - meh.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled @ GBBF. Bottle shared. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are a bit weird, lightly grainy, wheat, yeasty, slightly bitter, a weird kind of herbal fruitiness. Hmm, don’t really like it. Drinkable though.
