COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

Hazy yellow pour with off-white head. Nose is citrus, herbals. Soapy citrus and herbal tea notes. Light body. Sticky finish. Kinda flat mellow and tangy.

Bouteille achetée au Half Time (Poughkeepsie). Arôme de blé, de lavande, de coriandre et de malt. Goût semblable. Texture savonneuse. Rafraîchissante.

From the bottle. Pours light orange/yellow with a thin head. Hazy, good carbonation. Citrus aroma and spices up front, but less than typical for style. Tastes thin, finishes quickly.

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Lemon-orange, wheat malt, and light coriander aroma. Hazy straw gold with a moderate white head. Follows the nose with lemon-orange, coriander, and light wheat flavor. Medium creamy body, moderate carbonation. Great fresh crisp flavor. I found the coriander very impressive - just like the seed I collect from my herb garden.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours hazy amber Not a whole lot of head, Aroma mostly clove and other spices, some citrus fruits. Taste is actually consistent, clove, citrus fruit (lemon) nice tart flavor to it. OK beer, crisp.

Pours cloudy pale yellow color with white head. Aromas of corriander, clove and orange peel. Orange and corriander flavors with slight sourness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. A little watery.

Bottle. Lightly hazy orange pour with a small head - looks kind of bland. Nice orange citrus aroma. Hint of clove in here. Palate is a little thin, even for the style.

This one caught me by surprise. Not exceptionally highly rated and not widely available, but a very good wit! Cloves and citrus zest and a light and velvety body to this one. More sweet citrus than most of this style. Finish is excellent. I think this is one of my new favorite witbiers.

Interesting beer! A shocking colorless appearance (obviously a tint of gold), with present but rapidly diminishing head and no lacing. Kinda looks like they forgot something. Smells a ton like lemon juice, and a tad bit like earth. Not at all unpleasant, though it does knock you back. Tastes not unlike carbonated lemon water. Which is odd for beer, but again, not unpleasant. I could say the exact same thing about the mouthfeel. A fun one to try; Earns points for the novelty.

Bottled. Poured light straw golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up tangy, somewhat metallic wheat paired with cloves and a kiss of orange zest. The flavor found similar stuff.. tart metallic and bitter orange throughout.. cloves, coriander, and floral notes accented.. finished tangy and very dry. Light-bodied and too sharp on the palate.. this didn’t much do it for me.

Bottle; poured a dull straw gold with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, light spice, with some vanilla. Flavor had more lemon in it. A soft palate. Would have liked more spice and wheat, but ok overall.
