COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

Hazy yellow pour with off-white head. Nose is citrus, herbals. Soapy citrus and herbal tea notes. Light body. Sticky finish. Kinda flat mellow and tangy.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden color. Has anice head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus, orange, fruity with spice. Taste of citrus and fruit with spice and just a hint of malt. Mild bitternessand a dry finish. Light body, crisp and refreshing. Decent beer but needs something to make it pop.

Draft. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeast and sweet citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with a refreshing beer.

Sampled at AC Beerfest 2014. Poured a bright yellow color with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, and floral hops. Taste mimics the nose exactly.

12oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Pours a half hazy darker golden color. Thin white head. Just a couple dots and bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Kind of soft; a light roughness to it. Lightly dry finish. Moderate orange flavor, some spiciness, light belgian wit yeast character. Moderate to bigger sweet, big spicy taste to it. Almost a bitter spiciness. Kind of tangy. Good longer wit type after taste, but not as drinkable nor as refreshing as a good wit should be.

At the Hops and Props Beer Fest. Ordinary, boring wittier. The appearance is hazy yellow. The aroma is spicy, pepper, light fruit, like the flavor, medium, somewhat light in body. Unremarkable.

Light golden pour with just a touch of haze. Massive head with a lacing that retains very well. Light nose of coriander, Belgian yeast and a sweet fruity spiciness with lemon notes. Very light medium bodied with an attempt to be slick over a normal level of carbonation. The flavor profile is a bit weak, but nice. It begins with a blend of light spice that progresses to light coriander. In the middle, the citric lemon and wheat characteristics are evident. The finish is crisp with lingering notes of spice and citrus. A nice offering for a hot day session. A bit more body and flavor intensity would make this one outstanding.

On tap at the Cisco Brew Pub, Boston Logan Airport. A strange luminous grapefruit colour with a soft white head; aroma of cream soda with a dash of lime; soft grainy textrure with a sweet citrus taste; the finish is rather thin and dry, but has some lingering sweet lemonade. A refreshing wheat beer.

Yellow beer with a fizzy white head. Light, spritzy nose, almost like a citrus cola. Sweet beer with lots of orange juice and some spice. Almost drinks like a radler.

Clean, crisp witbier. Mine poured with almost no head. Pleasantly spiced. Very easy to drink. Wouldn’t pass up if offered.
