The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

Bottle shared by argo0 on 8/24/08: Pours a hazy pale golden with a thin ring of wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet biscuity pale malt and a touch of coriander and lime. Body starts with decent fullness and doughy maltiness with some citrusy flavor before a drier biscuity finish. Smooth beer with an interesting lime character.

Tap at the airport in Boston, MA. Light golden color with orange highlights. The nose is sweet, some banana with a spicy ginger finish. The taste is moderately light and sweet, with a slightly bready finish. The palate’s watery, a slightly wet finish. Overall, OK, one of the better beers I’ve had at an airport :)

(Rating #1110)

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy yellow-golden color with a medium sized soapy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint citrus and must with a light vague spicy undertone. The flavor was tangy orange and lemon with light undertones of must, pepper and cardboard. The finish was short with lemon and yeast. Medium body. Pleasant.

Bottle. My second Cisco beer tonight that was overly fizzy. Unlike the Bailey’s, this one is champagne-like in its fizziness, effervescent to a fault. Super light and barley yellow, this drinks like a fruit spritzer more than a beer, even a wit. Super sweet and puckeringly sweet, this is bordering into the Berliner weisse range.
