The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

A beautiful pale pour with a small fizzy head and cloudy body. Great lacing. Aroma is clean with notes of hay, celery and magnolia seed (Lemon Pledge). Some graininess and Belgian funk from the yeast. Mouthfeel is light and somewhat tart. Flavor is quite malty with grain being the most predominant. Floral hops finish clean. It’s a very nice beer. Refreshing and complex.

Slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is of subtle spice. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Nicely integrated spice flavors with a touch of citrus on a wheat backdrop. Nice beer.

Slightly cloudy golden colour with almost no head. Slight spicy smell. Quite a heavy mouthfeel for what is essentially a lager. Quite fizzy both visually and in the mouth. Tastes of lemons with a bitter zest aftertaste and a hint of spiciness. Not bad. (K)

Pours cloudy orange. With a head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is cloves, coriander, and spicy. The flavor is coriander, orange, cloves and some yeast, wheaty throughout.

Nose is complex with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, , citrus and malt. Appearance is cloudy gold pouring with a bubbly 1in foam head that lingers. Taste is initially effervescent moving to a dry white wine, then finishing with citrus and malt and ending very clean. Mouthfeel is tingly, dry and crisp. Overall this is a nice complex Belgian Wit.

Bottle. Minimal head and lots of carbonation. Sour and spicy initial hit mellows to a bit of wheat aftertaste. Not my kind of beer.

On tap at Yardhouse SLP. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of flora and light fruit with sweet wheat backing and a hint of bitter citrus. Flavor is similar with flora, light fruits and sweet wheat throughout and a hint of tart citrus in the finish.

Aroma is like a floral perfume. Flavor is also floral, but has a decent orange taste with mild spices. Almost seems more like a radler than a witbier.
