The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

A beautiful pale pour with a small fizzy head and cloudy body. Great lacing. Aroma is clean with notes of hay, celery and magnolia seed (Lemon Pledge). Some graininess and Belgian funk from the yeast. Mouthfeel is light and somewhat tart. Flavor is quite malty with grain being the most predominant. Floral hops finish clean. Itís a very nice beer. Refreshing and complex.

Can - looks pretty good - hazy gold with a frothy head - very dry and kind of uncommon for a wit - itís a spiced wheat, all right, but it tastes like sage, clove, white pepper - not much else going on character wise aside from the strong spice character - meh.

Sampled @ GBBF. Bottle shared. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are a bit weird, lightly grainy, wheat, yeasty, slightly bitter, a weird kind of herbal fruitiness. Hmm, donít really like it. Drinkable though.

Bottle at GBBF 2014. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is grainy, spicy, wheat, toilet cleaner, ginger and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, mild acidity, ginger, pepper, grainy, cereal, wood and straw with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. One-dimensional and spicy. No good..

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small immediately disappearing creamy white head that leaves no lace. Faint aroma of citrus and grass. Very light body, lightly bitter taste, thin texture, average carbonation, light grassy and hay flavors and a brief bitter finish.

On tap at one of my favorite spots for hanging on a Saturday afternoon. Hazy pale straw. Had a head on the pour which was gone before I set it down. Very subtle flavor, a little citrus, almost to the point of finding a banana there somewhere. Not what I expected for whit, but served the same person on a hot summer afternoon. Overall a pleasing drink.

Hazy yellow no head; aroma is mildly citrusy herbal and spicy(lemongrass); Flava is citrusy and slightly tart then fresh grainy; feels light flat; finishes dry grainy/wheat and semi tart; nice wheat beer but shouldnít be called a Belgian wit; rename the style and gain points
