COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

22 ounce bottle from the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT (July 2008), sampled a few minutes out of the fridge from a Duvel glass. Immense perfectly snowy, smooth head recedes slowly with little lacing above the very cloudy deep gold body....musty, earthy aroma with floral (jasmine) and light citrus (lemon) hints, somewhat dusty and old -- in a good way -- seeming....earthy, lightly tart, somewhat mineralic body, very crisp and quaffable, a little on the full side, clean and bright and extremely refreshing, drier than most....no world-beater, but at this moment on a very hot and humid night, just what I want in a witbier.

On tap at one of my favorite spots for hanging on a Saturday afternoon. Hazy pale straw. Had a head on the pour which was gone before I set it down. Very subtle flavor, a little citrus, almost to the point of finding a banana there somewhere. Not what I expected for whit, but served the same person on a hot summer afternoon. Overall a pleasing drink.

Hazy yellow no head; aroma is mildly citrusy herbal and spicy(lemongrass); Flava is citrusy and slightly tart then fresh grainy; feels light flat; finishes dry grainy/wheat and semi tart; nice wheat beer but shouldn’t be called a Belgian wit; rename the style and gain points

Bottle shared by sonnycheeba. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy tight bubbled white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy perfume coriander, light orange peel and spicy, earthy wheat malt. Flavor is moderate perfume coriander, light orange peel, supporting wheat malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Slight hazy pale golden pour with a white head. Watery aromas. Weak flavors of malt and subtle banana. Very weak brew. Just not a lot going on here.

Pint on tap. Foggy pale golden with a highly active body and lasting head. Nose is spicy lemon, resin, honey and cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon, nutmeg, wheat, caramel and resin. Light body is soft and highly carbonated.

@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear medium amber, head that drops quickly to the rim, splays of lace. Taste is wheat that adds a sweet floral bouquet in the palate, never exactly letting go into hops at the end. An odd brew, not very appealing to me.

Not what I was looking for. Sweet light slight banana flavor.I feel as if it varies from your classic witbier style

Draft into taster - nose is citrus peel. Sip adds more peel with nearing white pepper tones. Also refreshing and almost like a shandy. Easy going down.

Bottle: Pours clear, light yellow-gold with a whipped white head. Sharp lemon aroma. Yeasty, lemon/citrus malt taste. Almost a lactic feel to it. Mild...fairly nice.

Bottle. Strong lavender/coriander and wheat malt aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lavender, lemon, and wheat malt flavor. Not horrible - strong floral presence.
