COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

Bottle. Cloudy yellow gold pour with a centimeter of head. Soap, spice, citrus, and flowers. Light body with nice carbonation that have a nicer soapy but spicy and sweet finish.

On tap at East Bay Grille in Plymouth. Didn’t even know what I was ordering. Was pleasantly surprised to get what I believed was a good hefeweissen. Full bodied, very smooth. Was surprised to see that the brewery calls it a wit. Solid beer.

Aromas of orange and spice. Flavor has too much orange, I didn’t care for this beer at all. White beers aren’t high on my list.

Slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is of subtle spice. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Nicely integrated spice flavors with a touch of citrus on a wheat backdrop. Nice beer.

Slightly cloudy golden colour with almost no head. Slight spicy smell. Quite a heavy mouthfeel for what is essentially a lager. Quite fizzy both visually and in the mouth. Tastes of lemons with a bitter zest aftertaste and a hint of spiciness. Not bad. (K)

Nose is complex with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, , citrus and malt. Appearance is cloudy gold pouring with a bubbly 1in foam head that lingers. Taste is initially effervescent moving to a dry white wine, then finishing with citrus and malt and ending very clean. Mouthfeel is tingly, dry and crisp. Overall this is a nice complex Belgian Wit.
