2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs). Looks solid; malty though. A mostly transparent deep orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mostly bitter hops with a touch of fruit and a big pale malt backbone. Average (at best) on the palate with what seems like a bit of hot booziness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An underwhelming example of the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Good brew.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle. Clear orange red color. Little ring of khaki head, no lace. Medium body. Lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Kind of a metallic malt taste to it, more bittering hop than aroma. Not a good IPA. Very disappointing. Not drinkable. Off-putting aroma, hard to do more than sip this. Drain pour. Did Cisco really send a bunch of old product to Ohio for their launch, or is this always this weak? Didn’t see a bottle date, so I can’t be sure

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice beer overall. Nice thick head that lingers and laces on the way down. Amber in color. The taste and aroma is definitely malt-heavy. A bit of stick and bitterness on the finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Picked up from the foreign bottle bar (Biers Sans Frontiers), GBBF 13, ¾ pint bottle. Clear amber coloured body. Two-finger sized off-white head with good retention. Spotty lacing down the glassware. Dusty hops and mid-sweet, earthy malts to the nose. Flavours of malty sweetness nicely blended with fresh apricot and lemon. Dry bitter endnotes. Refreshing with fine drinkability (shared with Finn H at his place in Tromsø 30.10.2013).
