Finally an American-style IPA from us... This beautiful red-orange ale has a full malty body balanced by a fruity apricot/grapefruit nose. Mounds of dank Summit hops in the whirlpool and dry-hop additions provide a deliciously quenching finish to this East meets West-coast ale.

Pour is a hazy red with a small white head. Aroma is a oily hop with sweet malts. Flavor is more on the malty side. Thatís not a bad thing as the malts are very earth and herbal. The malts overpower any hop presence but Iím guess a fresher sample would show them off more. This says American style IPA but this is way more an English style.

Pours a hazy amber with a smallish off-white head. More bitter than sweet, but a well-made, enjoyable beer.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs). Looks solid; malty though. A mostly transparent deep orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mostly bitter hops with a touch of fruit and a big pale malt backbone. Average (at best) on the palate with what seems like a bit of hot booziness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An underwhelming example of the style.

Bottle. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Good brew.

12oz bottle. Clear orange red color. Little ring of khaki head, no lace. Medium body. Lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Kind of a metallic malt taste to it, more bittering hop than aroma. Not a good IPA. Very disappointing. Not drinkable. Off-putting aroma, hard to do more than sip this. Drain pour. Did Cisco really send a bunch of old product to Ohio for their launch, or is this always this weak? Didnít see a bottle date, so I canít be sure
