COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Finally an American-style IPA from us... This beautiful red-orange ale has a full malty body balanced by a fruity apricot/grapefruit nose. Mounds of dank Summit hops in the whirlpool and dry-hop additions provide a deliciously quenching finish to this East meets West-coast ale.

The aroma wasn’t as powerful as the average IPA, but there was definitely an aroma of apricot in it. The head was very powerful and took a while to dissipate. It is a darker color than many IPA’s that I’ve seen. It is smooth, but lacks the citrus bites that most IPA’s have. It is overall fairly decent.

Nice hoppy aroma and taste, cloudy amber color , a bit thin in the mouth. A good all-around IPA

Can @ SBWF 2014. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity piney hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy caramel finish.

Can@SBWF2014. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, earthy, floral, some nice bready malts along with mild caramel. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild nectar, spices and mild grassiness. Also some mild maltiness to it. Somewhat balanced, but not really my thing this one.

Bottle. Red/orange pour with minimal white head. Smells of hops and malt. Sweet start with a lot of bitterness for an apa. Not much carbonation. Just ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes nutty, like orange, malty, and tangy hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like orange, caramel, and smooth nutty hops.

Can at SBWF2014. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Grassy, sticky even harsh nose. Medium-bodied. Flowery hoppy, a bit sweetish flavor. Taste is better than the nose.

The aroma is okay. Definitely some citrus and floral hops, possibly a whiff of bready malt? Taste is nothing special. Mostly just hops that are not very well balanced. Nothing amazing

My first thought was "it’s like a razor blade to the tongue". Very sharp, but refreshing at the same time. A new twist on IPAs.

Bottle poured a hazy tarnished gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot), with notes of diacetyl, sour fruit (kumquat, sour apple, tomato, etc.), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Off-smelling, dirty, and very sour. Undrinkable. Cisco continues to have problems with infections, obviously. Bummer.
