COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Finally an American-style IPA from us... This beautiful red-orange ale has a full malty body balanced by a fruity apricot/grapefruit nose. Mounds of dank Summit hops in the whirlpool and dry-hop additions provide a deliciously quenching finish to this East meets West-coast ale.

Pours amber into a shaker. Extremely active from a gentle pour. Fluffy off-white head top hats the rim and does not recede. Pine and resin aromas. Strangely soft, yet over-carbonated with good balance upfront and a lasting grapefruit finish. Appearance and palate definitely detracted.

Tap: Poured a brown color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of floral hops notes with limited notes of bitterness with light caramelized malt notes. Taste is also a mix between some caramelized malt with some floral hoppy notes with a light bitter finish. Body was a bit thin for the style with average carbonation. Lacking a bit of character for the style.

On tap at the brewery. Sweet and citrus, without being too malty or cloying, very delicious, aromatic dry-hopped, not bitter.

Très juteux mais une finale crayeuse, très sèche l’empêche de laisser une impression mémorable.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with a modest head. fruity hop nose. Mango, grapefruit, apricot, peaches, white grapes. The taste is balanced chewy sweet malt flavor with a juicy hop finish. A bit spicy. Medium body, sharp carbonation. Overall, a nice, balanced IPA.

Bottle 12 oz @ Labadee, Haiti. Hazy red-orange beer with a large, off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and citrus with notes of pine needles. Sweet and bitter taste with notes of grapefruit and pine needles. Good texture and a good bitter and hoppy finish

12oz bottle from Armanetti’s. Pours a cloudy, dull orange colored body with a thin, creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a solid lacing throughout. Aroma is pine grapefruits and floral apricots with a nice sweetness to the hops. A good amount of medium sweet caramels backing the hops with a touch of toastiness and crystal sweetness. Flavor is solid. Dank pine grapefruits and slightly sweetened floral apricots to offset the heavy pines. Some orange in the middle with a medium sweet caramel, light toast, and touch of crystal that balances well. Finishes dry and highly bitter, but not abrasively so. Lengthy, aggressively hopped aftertaste with some citruses coming out. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid IPA. Lots of dank, piney grapefruits, but a nice sweetness to hops as well. Solid malt backing keeps things balanced. Nothing crazy special, but enjoyable.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of lychee and grapefruit. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Crystal hidden in a relatively thick blanket of citric hops. Salty bitter finoish.

Purchased at Armanetti’s in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on spring forward Sunday while making dinner, one of those great unexpected early March 60 degree days. Appearance is a cloudy, dark gold/ruby with a rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is nice and hoppy, equal parts citrus and pine hops, smells dry hopped for sure. Taste is pretty good, not really much malt thrown in, hops dominate but it’s not crazy bitter, goes down slightly smooth with mostly citrus notes, but it’s not like I’m drinking hop residue. I’m pretty happy to have tried this, wasn’t happy with my last Cisco brew and think this one’s the bees knees.

Please bottle date! This is a crappy barley wine. No hops remain. This is unreal how crappy this ipa is. It’s not an ipa!

Herbaceous aroma, predominately malty taste with a short bitter finish. Not bad
