This is an over-the top salty gose, also huge spices like cardmom and ginger. Not a lot of sourness.

750 ml bottle to snifter (2013 vintage; shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent light golden orange with eggshell head that dissipates into bubbly lacing pretty quickly. Smells doughy and mildly tart and salty. Tastes like it smells, but more citrusy than salty. Average on the palate. More like a berliner weisse than a gose to me; there was only a hint of salt on the finish.

Extremely true to style, which probably explains why it has a lower score than many other, less aggressive beers. Briny with a lemonade kick and moderate sweetness, not as tart as a lot of American interpretations but much saltier. Interesting beer.

Taste from a 750ml bottle. Totally hazy golden orange color. Little white head, none sticks. Really nice nose -- tart lemon, belgian wit yeast, coriander, and a light saltiness. Medium-plus body... Tastes bigger than you’d expect from a 4.4% beer. Smooth, kind of soft, light to moderate strength carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate saltiness. Light spicy bitterness. Apparently this Gose gets it’s salt from actual sea water. It does have a nice light brininess to it. Interesting, enjoyable flavorful and complex gose. More of a body, but not quite as refreshing as other examples with the bigger sweetness and soft palate.

Thanks to Lance for the sample. Belgian-style bomber.Foggy blonde beer, bad label. Sweaty, sour Berliner-like aroma. Mineral, dryish, a little plasticky. Medium light body. Tangy finish with some brine. No love from Aurelius.

Hazy cloudy straw yellow. Salty wheat with a lemony mint finish. Effervescent lemony with tartness and mint notes. Finishes with a bit of a meaty umami taste. Not bad and worth a try but not my favorite.

Keg at Torst- 20th January 2014. Loads of salt but lacking in sourness. Quite astringent aroma. Not great.

Bottle thanks to Clark. Pours cloudy yellow gold with white head. Nose and taste of lemon, salt, sea salt, salted wheat and salted creamed banana. Some spice. Fennel? Basil? Lighter body. A touch heavy on the salt, but decent.
