3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Cask Republic. This was indeed a hopsicle. There were loads of fresh juicy new-wave hops all over the place. Citra, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, etc. type hop character dominates an herbal and juicy aroma and front flavor. I thought the maltiness fell a little short on this one, but it was crisp, super-fresh and eminently drinkable. Very nice pale ale and impressive hop work. I do think they could use to sulfate their water a little.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good sessionable APA. The hops are very herbal and floral with light lemon citrus. The finish comes off slightly phenolic with a touch of medicinal and bandaids. Its not overpowering and the beer is still tasty and drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Citrus, grassy hops, and some biscuit malt in the aroma. Musky, spicy wheat flavor, with a little fruity bitterness in the finish. This is essentially is a hopped-up hefeweizen--odd, but good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a big, frothy head. Lots of Citrus aroma and flavor. Flavor also has a rather unpleasant, almost metallic tang to it, besides all the hops. Not sure I really cared for it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Yellow, cloudy appearance with some sediment in the bottom of the bottle, white head. Effervescent. Fruity, grassy, lemony and malty aroma. Citrusy and grassy flavor, kind of like a white IPA. Solid Beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle in a shaker. Pours cloudy golden with a big, off-white head. Aroma of pale malts and a nice lightly citrusy hop note. Flavor a nice blend of the pale malts that are not pale in a bad way and the smooth hops. Average to smooth texture. A pretty good pale ale.
