Bottle. Pours a hazy orangey copper color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has some sweet aromas of light fruit and a bit of the Belgian yeast in there. Taste is fruity without being too sweet and has a bit of spice underneath. Slight bit of fizziness to the palate.

750 mL Bottle. Pours hazy and lightly particulate orange with a large, creamy and pillowy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is tropical fruity esters of mango and pineapple, pepper, soft straw and honey malt, apricot, honeysuckle, floral hops, and Belgian candi sugar. Flavor is dry biscuit and honey malt, floral hops and light bitterness, pepper and Belgian yeast spices with a dry finish. Full body and heavy carbonation.

My Bottom Line:
Orange zest, doughy yeast and herbal hops meet as alcohol warmth and delicate honeyed sweetness seal this elegant Tripel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A tower of foam protects the cloudy beige blond, leaving plenty of lacing.
-Bready flavors appear to coat the green, earthy hops in the finish.
-Mouthfeel is rich and effervescent. This is sweeter than authentic Tripels, but it isn’t THAT sweet.
-I like the fact this is not a spice soup like so many North American Tripels. Spices and herbs are intelligently used here ; nice dosage in aroma and flavor profile.
-I found this to be better when cool ; the flavor profile wasn’t as tight when getting close to room temperature.

750mL bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a massive off white fizzy head. Aroma of yeast, sweet bread, bananas, cloves, pepper and faint citrus. Medium bodied with nice carbonation and a lasting dry finish.

Pours a nice golden haze. A subtle yet still evident Belgian feel. String treat finish. Belgian till the end.

Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy golden amber with a medium to large dense and creamy white head. Big fuzzy and lemony musk on the nose, soft sweetness and candy. Long peppercorn spice on the nose as well, very interesting. Medium bodied, funky musk and a bit of sweet candy sugar. Mildly funky, warm yeast and a bit of sweetness. Sweet and toasty, musky. Lingering funk and toast. Lovely stuff. Seems to blur the line nicely between a funky saison and a tripel. Very, very nice.

From the bottle; pours a golden-orange color with a nice off-white head. This smells a bit funky with fruity esters, wild flowers, light grassy notes, and a bit of orange blossom. Refreshing and very drinkable stuff for a higher abv beer. The flavors are well put together, consisting of straw, peppery herbs, tropical fruit, and Belgian yeast. Candi sugary notes combine with fruity esters that gives this some moderate sweetness but the alcohol bite is kept in check. A touch dry in the finish doing a nice job of balancing the sweetness. This glides along nicely. Good beer.

My first Cisco brew an it's a really good one. I'm brewing a Tripel this weekend and I'll be thrilled if it comes out anything like this. The bitterness lingers a lot longer than the malt. So the early balance doesn't last as long as I'd like. The high gravity, high ABV does not overpower. But the light color of Tripels always tricks you. This is no session beer, but not quite snifter-only like some of the more regal Belgians. Just nicely in the middle. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a huge sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, spices, fruity, and some breadiness. Tastes of spices (stronger than the aromas), fruits, and lighter yeast. Alcohol content overall well hidden with a lighter alcohol burn in the finish.

Draft @ The Ale House in Amesbury. Tulip glass shows a hazy, straw gold with large amounts of retention. Nose is Belgian yeast, bread and tropical fruit. The taste has light spices, dried fruit, lots of pale malt and light grains. The ABV is undetectable; the body is full with a dry finish. Good example of the style. Yet they could add something to give it its own character. Can be easily forgotten.
