3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Coconut, white grapes and spicy citrus fruit merge on top of this Barrel-Aged Witbierís oaken dryness, as lactic tartness seals each sip.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the cloudy yellow,
-The fragrant aroma could have made a very pleasant sunscreen lotion...
-Raw yeast flavors got in the way of the perfumy fruitiness.
-The prickly carbonation made this an easy drinker.
-I admit I wasnít too excited about this beer when I read what it was, but Cisco found a way to make this idea work. Kudos to them!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours with a white, four-finger head that fades to a thin layer leaving some lace. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Light almost clear amber color, with a ton of yeast left in bottle. Nose is yeasty lemon. Flavor is sour lemon and yeast, there is no doubt this is a wild ale. The ABV is 5.0%. Way overpriced at $19.95 for a caged and corked 750ml bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Like most other Cisco brews this one is bottle conditioned. The first glass I didnít mix it up and it was clear and golden. The second glass I swirled the sediment into the glass. The result was more body and flavor into this yellow brew. Tart aroma. Flavors are tart and lemony citrus with some bread on the back side. There is a bit of peppery spice in the finish also. Crisp, and quite drinkable with the sourness held in check. Man, I love Cisco!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to brewedawakening. Poured a cloudy gold with a white head that dissipated slowly and lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had some nice spice with a bit of oak and slightly tart light fruit. Flavor had a slight tart note as well with mellow light grain and spice throughout. A bit of oak came out in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml beer by derek! Thanks! Pours a nice glowing straw yellow, glowing, bright white moderate head that films, laces well. Aromas are straw and oak, a touch of brett, pear, faint spicy herbs and white pepper, a touch of coriander. Initial is mellow straw and cereal grains, big spice of white pepper and herbs. Touch of green, cereal, light tart lemon rind. Pale malts, lactic acidity and oak. Wild yeast brings light acidity, big herb presence, pale and grainy malts. Mellow, sweet, funky and lightly acidic sour. Very nice, a blonde lighter brett forward sour. The Wit base makes it easier fare, but still a decent complexity to it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle from Derek... Pours a hazy golden pour with a fluffy white head. Pretty straightforward looking but enticing still... Oaky wet wood, a bit spicy with rosemary or Italian herb, a bit of earth but really spiced up... Lighter fluffy bodied with a spiced semi-tart flavor. Body was light,
perfectly drinkable, earthy sour but def not too assertive
in sourness. Nod to cherry woods.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly hazy apricot pour with a large white head that quickly recedes. Lots of acetic acid in the nose, with salty brine and barrel notes abounding. A odd cheesy note also comes through. The flavor is puckeringly tart with lots of lactic notes, more cheesecake, and some nectar fruit barrel brine. The palate is highly carbonated with a slippery texture and a dry finish. A little off, but enjoyable just the same.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from DA shared with the guys at The Bruery for World cup. Poured a straw hazy yellow with white head. Aroma was oak and sour funk, maybe some lemon zest. Taste was more tart than sweet with a smooth oak finish. Very nice dry and good carbonation. Awesome stuff.
