Bottle: The aroma consists of tropical fruits, sour lemon, faint grapefruit, light vinous notes, oak, and a hint of acetone. It pours a cloudy dull orangish-gold with a minimal white head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tropical fruit and citrus. The finish has moderate-heavy sour lemon with some light acetone, oak, and and a touch of wine. Itís light bodied with minimal carbonation...almost flat. Overall, I really enjoyed this, but the mouthfeel is a little lacking.

Straw yellow, hazy. Smell of citrus peel and tropical fruit.. mango, palatable grapefruit zest. This beer got more sour as it came to room temperature. Never been to nantucket but wouldnít mind sipping this one on the beach

Pours an entirely translucent golden straw yellow with almost no discernible carbonation. Nose is green apple and barnyard, but a bit weak, probably due to the lack of carbonation. Flavor is a wonderful green apple twang with just a bit of Belgian yeast. Unfortunately, the lack of carbonation keeps this from being a memorable beer. Maybe I just got a bad bottle.

Draft @ Novare Res. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with just a touch of foam. Aromas are fruity oak and tart citrus. On the palate its clean and refreshing with a slight touch of barrel funk mingling with some very nice lemon and lime notes that are bright and tart. Good lingering flavors on the finish.

Pours a hazy gold, no head. Aroma of really funky oak. Taste is crazy tart, funk and oak, lemon and vinegar. Pretty nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at an esbls tadtin. Ok a good sample. Thanks JRorie. This looks and tastes like lemonade. Somewhat sour and a bir powdery. Some more complex fruit but lemons dominate. Good stuff.

Reminds me of the sours of russian river. Light, effervescent, tart, refreshing, nice sour acidity. Fruity, mellow oak. A great one.

750ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours light copper color with a 1" white head that fizzed away pretty quickly, no lacing around the glass. Nose is citrus, lemons, vinous. Taste is pretty much the same. Sour! Not my thing.

Bottle from The Charleston Beer Exchange. Golden color; a fairly vigorous pour generates a one finger head that quickly fades to a thin layer. Citrusy aroma with peach and lemon leading the way. A touch floral with plenty of funky brett influence and some lavender-like herbal character. This isnít super sour going down but a mild acid burn allows this to be refreshingly tart. Itís funky and horsey overall with sour citrus fruity flavors. Thereís some oak character too but thatís secondary. A very light nail polish remover note sits far in the background but it seems to be there. The flavors seem a tad thin compared to the aroma but this is still a nice refreshing sour to enjoy on a warm day. Not worth the price but I had no real problems with this one.
