I am tearing through my Lukaduke bottles this month, no turning back now! Pours a hazy gold one with light rising bubbles that go on and on. Some funky / sweaty notes on the nose with oak, citrus, Chardonnay in the back. Taste has nice lemon-lime tartness, mild sweetness, lacto, wet wood, white pepper. Light body and quick finish but drinks very nicely for the 5% ABV. Great summer sour!

Bottle to glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a fizzy light tan off white head. Aroma is tart, oak, citrus. Flavor is quite sour, dry, with lemon zest and white whine. Light to medium body with a long lingering lemony citrusy sour. Very tasty!

Bottle shared by phaleslu at Muckfest V on 7/11/14. Thanks Peter! Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Funky and lemony nose with some malt and grapefruit notes. Sour and funky flavor with some pepperiness before a lemon juice finish.

750 split with the wife, pours gold, small fizzy white head the disappears as quickly as it formed. Nose of peach skins and funk. Taste is sweeter than I expected, lightly tart finish. Low acid burn, medium body that slips off the tongue.

750 ml bottle sent by...BoostIPA? I can’t remember. Damn. Pours a pale hazed yellow with almost no head. Notes of tart lemon citrus, yogurt, sourdough, vinegar, leather, oak, faint tropicals, chardonnay, apple skins, and herbs. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart mouthfeel. Slightly tunky, really tart. Super refreshing. Exceeded expectations.

I bought this completely at random, because the bottle gave no indication of the style - but it sure turned out well! Sour flavors dominate, with the wild/funk flavor in the background and just a hint of fruit. Light and very drinkable. A great surprise.

Clear golden color beneath thin white lace. Sharp citrus zest dominates the aroma, yet this contrasts sharply with the cheesy, funky palate experience. Notes of grainy sweetness creep from the heftily soured base. Dry overall; quite nice.

Bottle: Thanks, Ed. Light yellow body, a mild haze throughout with just about no head... Surprising. Aroma of light lemon flesh, cherry skins, yogurt, & some apparent sour lactobacillus yeast. Taste is a little watery & thin compared to the "fullness" of the aroma. Lemon, hint of lactic acid but the tartness hits quick & fades out almost instantly. Mild floral notes with a faint but of wet oak & white grape in the finish. Ends abruptly, finishes quick. Dry. A good wild ale, but I wish some of those nice flavors lingered for a bit. Kind of drops off a cliff.
