22oz bottle (but the label states 1PT., 9.4fL OZ). A fun take on the wit for sure. Pours a fairly crystal light gold with a frothy but sustained small bright white head. Aroma initially presents a touch of oak balanced by some subtle spice (orange peel being the most dominant). Warming brings out some agave nectar, white pepper and maybe some allspice? A touch of creamy wheat rounds out the nose. Flavor is creamy from the wheat with some slight tartness from the oak aging. Some very light spice flavors with green apples and white grape flavors as well. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Slightly tart initially on the finish, but the creamy wheat takes hold on the back of the tongue. A unique wit that I could session the hell out of in the summer. Not overly complex, but what itís lacking is fully made up by itís insane drinkability. Thanks Matt!

750 mL purchased at Whole Foods P Street in DC. 95% clear golden pour, bubbly off-white head that dissipates very quickly. Nose and flavor are lovely, with good notes of white grapefruit rind, lemon flesh, nice vibrant hints of peach and mango, intriguing fruity booze hints of Cointreau and even a touch of Grand Marnier. Definitely some good tannic and wooden funk, though balanced by just a touch of American style acidity that definitely differentiates this from a Belgian sour. Despite that, itís beautifully restrained in that area, contributing to a quenching and balanced tartness that doesnít come across as overbearing whatsoever. Low to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Really extraordinary well done again from a brewery that makes hilariously delicious sours considering how pedestrian their regular lineup is. Delicious stuff.

750. Bottle to tulip (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a very slightly hazy orange with fluffy eggshell head. Smells good too; brett, tropical fruit, oak, and light chardonnay and funk. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart and fairly dry mouthfeel. Some peach. Good stuff.
