22oz bottle (but the label states 1PT., 9.4fL OZ). A fun take on the wit for sure. Pours a fairly crystal light gold with a frothy but sustained small bright white head. Aroma initially presents a touch of oak balanced by some subtle spice (orange peel being the most dominant). Warming brings out some agave nectar, white pepper and maybe some allspice? A touch of creamy wheat rounds out the nose. Flavor is creamy from the wheat with some slight tartness from the oak aging. Some very light spice flavors with green apples and white grape flavors as well. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Slightly tart initially on the finish, but the creamy wheat takes hold on the back of the tongue. A unique wit that I could session the hell out of in the summer. Not overly complex, but what it’s lacking is fully made up by it’s insane drinkability. Thanks Matt!

2013 bottle..good pop from bottle..pours a golden yellow/orange..decent amount of carbonation..nose has got some true wild character with funk, wood and sourness..mouthfeel is spritzy, light bodied, full of interesting flavor with just the right amount of sourness supported nicely by the presence from the oak barrel..quite enjoyable sour ale

Bottle. Sunset-orange with moderate haze. Beautiful sunset colors. One inch of off-white fuzz. Dry, oaky funk in the nose. Dried lemon, rose petals, brett, white wine, dried flower petals, potpourri. Complex, like perfume. Fruity up front in the flavor, with a bit of apple and underripe pear. Vinegar acidity is mild. Dry, oaky chardonnay. Finish is balanced perfectly -- fruity-sweet and moderately sour. Very mild carbonation, nearly flat. Medium body, smooth and silky. A sour you can drink a lot of.

P: Clear copper colored with a one finger head that doesn’t last long. S: Lactic acid, yogurt, peaches, grapes, a bit of butter. T: Acid-y, sweet peach, oak and a bit of yogurt in the end. M: Thin and highly carbonated. Very sweet and tart. O: Nothing that I found extraordinary, but it sure was sour. A bit to acid-y for me.

Sample tasted at Casanova Liquors. Pours light orange golden color. Smell is tart with citrus notes like lemon and grapefruit. Taste follows with dry white wine like finish. Good stuff.

Pours pale amber with a frothy white head. Nose is tart and spunky like a cider. Taste is similar. Medium bodied brew with vigorous carbonation. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have tart green apples, lemon citrus, nice sour acidity, but it doesn’t pop like I hoped it would probably because the carbonation was softer, still good but at the price I want more.

Hazy amber. Nose of funk, lemon, chardonnay, and green apples. Flavor is oaky sour lemon and green apple. Dry oaky finish. Light acetone touch. Almost over-carbed. Dry, dry, oaky and sour. Pretty nice.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Cloudy gold with a tall, fluffy white head. Aroma is sour fruit, funky yeast, lemon juice, earthy notes and wet wood. Taste is sour fruit, wet wood, funky yeast, wine notes, tart berries, lemon, salt, earthy notes and leather. Body is light-medium with a strong bubbly carbonation and dry finish. Lingering acidic notes as well. Ends with more sour fruit, lemon juice, oak, earthy notes and leather.

750ml bottle, shared. Clear golden color. Thin off-white head, kind of bubbly, fades to minimal. Kind of a stronger, softer carbonation than I expect from a gueuze, fades to a level I like after a bit, though. Medium plus body, kind of slick. Sastisfying bigger sour taste, tang, moderate sweet taste. Oak, big lemon citrus, mild funkiness. Up front there was a lot of green apple, but that becomes less noticeable as it opens and warms up. Solid sour ale, was hoping for more from this though... Seems to be lacking something for me. Little too tangy maybe. Not quite refreshing like I kinda expected.
