COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two year old Nantucket Flemish-style red aged on whole sour cherries for 10 months. This is similar to sipping the idea of what a "cherry" is... UNREAL.

Pours hazy red with a small pink head. The nose is tart cherries, raspberry, light vinegar, lemons, funk. The taste is medium high sweet, high sour and very low bitter. The texture is crisp and clean, nice tannins, the body is light and finish is long.

Bottle poured a red amber color with a wisp of off white foam and a still look in the glass. Aroma has tart cherry, light acidity, fruit skins, and a Flemish red base. Mouth feel is light and unfortunately mostly flat. Flavor has medium acidity, cherry, some minerals, and a red base. The beer itself could be nice but the lack of carbonation is killer.

Bottle:   Deep caramel, slight dark reddish hue, very thin sudsy white head, dies instantly, leaving no lacing.   Aged on oak and sour cherries, its what I expected at least.   Very much a Duchess like aroma, cherry, lactic tartness, and woody.   Tart and semi dry up front, cherry like, oakish, and very natural.   Has a slight sweetness that isnt as artificial as Duchess.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Cherry, oak, and a dry/tart finish.   Has a slight pie cherry like sweetness but its dominated by more of a tart/dry aspect.   Simple, yet tasteful.

On tap @ barcade philly. Aroma of sweet tart cherries, slight stilton cheese, and red apple peel. Pours hazy red brown with slight film. Taste is very tart with immediate notes of underripe sour cherry and crabapple. Great notes of rhubarb, apple core and slight cheese funk. Just terrific and very tart!

Backlogged. Bottle shared with Annie baby in January of 2011. Poured a blood red color with medium to large thich head with great lacing, Aromas and flavor of sour cherry, black cherry, funky barn, wood, vanilla, and other rich notes. Mouthfeel was super thick but still tameable. Just so much residual cherryness left in the mouth. Awesome sour, my favorite Cisco to date. Cheers

Bottle in support of Massachusetts for the afc championship game, I had good luck with the pedelar last Sunday. Pours like a glass of Beaujolais with zero head. Great smell of sour cherries. Low carbonation. Tastes of cherries, oak, vinegar, earth, light cough syrup. Very pleasant with nice finish.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Bottle, caged and corked, celebrating the Ravens’ first-round victory. Pours like an appertif, shiny and dark red, barely any carbonation or head whatsoever. Very medicinal aroma. Tastes like what you’d expect it to taste if was cherry juice aged in oak barrels. But I’d personally like some more body. This may have been in my beer cooler for a while, but certainly no longer than a year. It should still have some more body. (#4892, 1/6/2013)

Thanks for the share! This one has a tart aroma with a light sour cherry aroma and tons of oak. Pour is reddish with the usual, almost non existent head. Taste is lightly tart, tons of oak, and a fruity backbone. Nice.

Draft at Novare Res. Pours a deep cherry red with a touch of pink foam. Aromas are tart cherry, vinous, with some tannic barrel funk. On the palate it has anice big ripe cherry pie back bone that holds firm and lets some barrel funk and warm spices of cinnamon and nutmeg sneak through on the mid to late palate. Great mouthfeel even with a low carbonation factor...smooth funky and inviting !

A beer from my homeland - score!!! This was a delicate sour ale. The aroma is a lot of oak and vanilla with traces of cherries. Cherries was obviously the flavor, but indirectly, masked by soft oak and wood. The finish is clean and tart, JUST under the amount that would make you pucker up. Thanks guy for sharing this one.
