Two year old Nantucket Flemish-style red aged on whole sour cherries for 10 months. This is similar to sipping the idea of what a "cherry" is... UNREAL.

Bottle at WtWBA Brooklyn 2012. Pours a deep murky red body with not much head, but lots of white lacing. Aroma is sharp, sour cherry and funk. Mouthfeel is tart with notes of sour cherries and oak. Very straight forward, but I really dug this cherry sour.

On Draft. Sour Cherry on the nose, Head dissipates quickly, Sour cherry on the palate with some other dried fruits. I get a little bit of pepper, more cherry on the finish. Enjoyable

Tap @ FG with Erica. Pours dark red (amber hue) with no head into chalice. Nose is some dark, dry fruits and palate is the same with notes of dark cherry, prune/raisin. Dry, a little astringent, and kind of dusty in a cool way. Light to medium sour, medium to heavy tart. More fruit beer than sour to me. Very good.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Deep red pour with nearly zero head. Aroma is sour cherry, balsamic vinegar, wet wood, light sweat, tart berries and earthy notes. Taste is big sour cherry, lemon, tart berries, wet wood, sweat, vinegar and leather. Soft earthiness as well. Body is light-medium and dry with lingering acidic tartness and faint-to-no carbonation bubbles. Ends with more sour cherries, tart berries, wet wood and earth, vinegar notes and leather. Tasty!

Hazy brown pour with a red tint. Thin tan head. Cherry pit aroma. Lots of fruit. Moderate tartness. Good cherry flavor. Dry and well balanced. Maybe a hint of cinnamon. Very nice beer.

Draft from Coalhouse Pizza, Stamford, CT. Served with a dark brown hue, this is a sour, fruity kriek with notes of lemon and cherries. There’s a tinge of sourness, but overall this is a pleasant tasting beer, despite the high abv.

Draft on tap at Fountainhead (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich ruby hue, healthy glow and gentle haze. Firm glowing reddish fruit punch hues match a frothy tannish brown head with some ruby red notes. Frothy and lingering, laces ok. Aromas are sour cherries and vinegar. Firm lactic acid, sourness. Lemons, cherry skins, sour berries and fruit punch is quite pleasant. Touches of wet malts, sweetness. Potent sour fruit punch vibe with a firm strong lactic and vinegar notes. Initial is medium bodied offering impressive sour cherries up front, raspberries and lemons mix liberally. Lactic acid, flashes of vinegar, some gentle oak. Touches of sweetness try to find their way, but a firmly if not potent sour front and middle do their job. Some mellow red wine elements, more fruity, with sour grapes, touches of metallic twangs into the backend with lactic acid, gentle funk and almost a crusty pie element into the back as it picks up a bit of sweetness.really lingering sour cherry and berry elements with lemons. Really nice and sour, yet not overwhelming or harsh. Rich sour fruit. Well done and a treat to have on tap in Chicago as acidity starts to coat the esophagus and burn a bit. Nice. Linger sour cherry lemonade. Perhaps a touch harsh at times especially further in, but a very nice beer. Assertive sourness yet with some substance.

Bottle. Pours reddish with a small, off-white head. Tart aroma of cherries and medium malts. Great tart cherry flavor with hints of caramel and oak. Slightly funky and dry finish.
