Commercial Description:
This craft-brewed porter is made in very small batches right here on Nantucket. It is unfiltered and bottle-conditioned to ensure the freshest possible taste. Our porter is made with a blend of roasted barley, black patent, and chocolate malt for a smooth, chocolatey finish that goes famously well with oysters. Serve slightly chilled.

Bomber. Quite dark roasted color and aroma. Coffee and chocolate in the flavor. Mouthfeel is quite thin. I am not impressed.

Pours a deep brown with amber notes and a huge bubbly light tan head that left some sticky lacing. Aroma of tart cherries, roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee and an interesting sweet sourness. Flavor of chocolate, sour cherries, coffee and some funky sourness. I think this bottle is infected...but still nice. Sourness came across as a sour/tart cherry which complimented the chocholate/roast nicely.

750 ml. Huge, spewing from the bottle head doesn’t stick around atop this opaque black beer. Burnt grain, cocoa, and coffee aroma has a faint plastic tinge to it. Flavor is bitter dark cocoa, bitter char and bitter green herbs. Body is light-medium, tingly, and way too frothy with carbonation. Big disappointment.

Had on tap at Pitcher’s Pub. Poured dark brown with a thick head. Aroma of chocolate and smoke. Flavor integrates smoke nicely,
