COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This craft-brewed porter is made in very small batches right here on Nantucket. It is unfiltered and bottle-conditioned to ensure the freshest possible taste. Our porter is made with a blend of roasted barley, black patent, and chocolate malt for a smooth, chocolatey finish that goes famously well with oysters. Serve slightly chilled.

Bomber pours a dark brown/black with a large tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, licorice, and a slight roast. Taste has an upfront earthy roasted barley bitterness, with smoked malts into smooth chocolate malts ending with some more bitterness. A really nice porter at a very reasonable price.

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2014, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate. An easy drinking porter, nice work from Cisco.

Opaque, some lace. Light body, smooth and delicate mouthfeel and flavor, little carbonation, rather flat, Mildly bitter, dry, acidity not in evidence and perhaps lacking, Definite but not overpowering roast flavors, Pleasant but not exciting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from kitchen and company Asheville. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has some nice Roasted chocolate malt on the nose. Has a bit of a licorice thing on the tongue. Finishes with a trace of bitterness. Very nice.

Cisco redeemed themselves a little from that trainwreck saison with a well crafted delightfully charming porter. Great chocolate notes with light toastienss and some fruity malty notes. Drinkability is great and taste is still full and complex.

Toasty malts of chocolate come through with bitter coffee flavors. A bit of smoke in the nose and taste. Huge light brown head (reminded me of a root beer float foam) and beer itself is practically black in color. A bit oily mouth feel, but still very pleasing brew.

Bottle from Greens in Atlanta. Brown pour with inch or so light brown head that sticks around. Malty aroma with dark fruit and cocoa. Tastes are the same with coffee and herbal hoppiness. Thin palate makes it easy drinking. Fair enough.
