3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 jrallen34 (3445) - Chicago, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Thanks to Chris for this... pours a light neon straw, light white head... very sweet nose, peaches, but they are a bit candyish, a sugar cookie quality to it... very dry, reminds me of a white wine more than a beer, as Alex said, tastes like a peach cobbler... mouthfeel is really nice, sticky with a nice pucker... really solid beer worth trying

Gut! 11/11/12/11/10/11
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 DConMan (22) - Ballwin, Missouri, USA - APR 30, 2012
Enjoyed a 1 PT. 9.4 FL.OZ. bottle of this w/ CurtisMcArthur in Nashville, TN. Poured from the Orange/Yellow labeled bottle w/ trees on it into a 12oz Jackie O’s Snifter Glass. Has no freshness/bottle date.
Aroma- A light green tea but noticeable character pops out first. Then a easy going peach note pops out. Very subtle.
Appearance- Pours a .5 finger head that dies right off the bat. Has a bright lemon colored body, maybe a light peach similarity. Light suds are left behind.
Flavor- Subtle peach flavored candy hits the mouth first and has a light acidic background. A bit of musk whooshes over and very nice for the style!
Mouthfeel- Light Bodied, Highest Carbonation, Puckers quite a bit on the finish, and has a musky peach finish on the palate. Great mouthfeel!
Overall Impression- This brew started off very above average but then the mouthfeel made it happen! Highly recommend picking up a bottle of this if given the opportunity. Fresh candied peaches with tons of character left afterwards.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, big thanks to Josh for opening this up! Pour was hazy orange with thin white head, aroma brought big jammy peach, vanilla, hints of nice lemon, lemon meringue, touch of funky notes but fairly clean. Taste is a mix of lemon and sweet apple, tart fruits, hints of lactic and slight funky notes, hints of biscuit and sweet bready notes, finishing fairly tart and slightly sharp.

750ml bottle pours a hazy gold with one ring of white head. Nose is nice and fruity, white grape, lightly woody, lemon rind. Flavor is sweet, tart, lemon rind, white peach, spritzy, limes. There’s a ton of flavor and a lot of it isn’t peach. Medium bodied, tart, refreshing finish.

lightly hazy hay-gold, decent large bubbles white ring, reduces to hazy cap. Nose is burning citrus, light lotion and faint plastic, refreshing but reminiscent of lost abbey. Flavor shows more heavy citrus early, mid has lotion emerge, finish with a bit of sand, paper, heavy citrus, and lightest acetic burn.

3.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 KickInChalice (771) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 6, 2012
From notes. First reviewed 8/8/2011. Poured from a 750 mL caged and corked bottle into a tulip.
Pechish Woods pours a very cloudy golden straw color with champagne edges. A white foam sits on top and eventually just clings to the edge of the glass.
The aroma is fantastic. This smells like peach yogurt, smooth and slightly sour, with a little funk lurking in the background.
The flavor is slightly sour peaches to start, with the sour flavor growing throughout the sip and peaking at the end, leaving a little bit of lemon behind. Not really much funk here. A little bit of apricot or tangerine, but that may be a stretch.
When I first sip this, I could be fooled into thinking this has a fuller than medium body, but it dries out and even gets a little bit watery at the end. Tart and acidic enough to make me salivate but not pucker my lips.
Drinking this was enjoyable, and the aroma in particular was fantastic. Having only one flavor and not much depth takes away from any desire to revisit this beer though.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 crazyvin (1573) - New York, USA - MAR 1, 2012
A nice clear golden body with a fast fading white head. Some carbonation present. Aroma had a mix of wild yeast and mild peaches. No real oak note or malts. Flavor was initially tart from the yeast a slight toasted quality balanced it out and the peaches were mildly sweet in the finish. The acidity was present through out the several layers of flavors. Carbonation was slightly elevated and the finish was crisp.
