COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On Nantucket a Pumple named Drumkin, brewed up some great ale with his pumpkins. One and all came to savor the delicious flavor, then wobbled around quite like bumpkins. At Cisco they thought, "The is De-Lish! Letís make some more because we wish, to please all the tourists, and locals and purists, with the best ale that we can accomplish!"

FROTHINGSLOSH (4918) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy tan head that faded and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy and semi-sweet nutmeg and clove. The flavor was tangy and somewhat bitter nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Long finish that turns dry with nutmeg and cinnamon lingering. Medium body. Ok.

Pours clear amber with medium lasting head. Aromas of pumpkin spices with nutmeg pronounced. Nutmeg and spice upfront with some bitter hops on the finish. Mouthfeel is light and clean. A decent pumpkin ale, but lacking character. --- Cheers

Pours orange amber with a thick white foam. Minimal aroma. Maybe a little vegetal & malt. Taste is underwhelming. Kind of like an amber ale I really don't get any pumpkin or spice. Maybe my bottle was bad? Nice carbonation. Generally un-impressive. Not what I expected. More beer please...

j12601 (6603) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Bottle. Pours a lightly hazed amber brown with a tiny hint of a white head. Warm spices and malt with a touch of fruit, old malt, and very faint gourd flesh. Medium bodied, sweet, some oxidized old fruit, touches of spice. Comes off a bit empty in the middle. Soft spices and toast on the finish into a light bitterness. Of the three pumpkin beers we had tonight this was the least bad, but still wasnít all that good. Murrrrrr.

Smell is typical pumpkin beer. Color is typical pumpkin beer. Taste is typical at first then gives way to a bitter maltiness that is not typical. Not great but not awful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear copper color from the bottle with thin tan head and moderate lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy funkiness, and slight pumpkin. Taste follows, but is very bland, the funky grass is not the good type of funk, the grainy malts donít blend well, and the pumpkin is so slight that itís almost not noticeable. Not something I want to seek out again.

Bottle. Pours clearish amber, with thin white head. Aromas of weird spice, wet basement wood, earthy grains, stale hops, Taste is weird funk, stale hops, and stale pumpkin, rye. Bad mouthfeel, with a dry cotton mouth finish. Not my favorite pumpkin.
