COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On Nantucket a Pumple named Drumkin, brewed up some great ale with his pumpkins. One and all came to savor the delicious flavor, then wobbled around quite like bumpkins. At Cisco they thought, "The is De-Lish! Let’s make some more because we wish, to please all the tourists, and locals and purists, with the best ale that we can accomplish!"

Orange golden, looks like fall and pumpkins! No head, light carb. Nose is light spice, pumpkin flesh, brown sugar. Flavor is kinda strange. Not overly sweet like some in this style can be, but its very minerally, lightly earthy, with some light salinity. Spicy and light pepper in the finish. Overall very dry.

Bottle from Craft Ale. Pours clear orangy fall foliage color with 2-finger creamy, well-retained off-white head. Nose is pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg. Tastes a bit watery, with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, and a smooth but somewhat uninspiring finish. Comes off like an amber ale with pumpkin extract added.

Draft. Deep orange. Mild head. Got a lot of yeast and herbs on this one more than pumpkin spice.

12oz bottle. Clear orange pumpkin color. Some bubbles on the side of the glass. Little khaki head, some lace. Lighter carbonation, dry finish, light body. Very light pumpkin flavor. Kind of on the hoppier side. Light bitter taste, kind of watered down. Spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, but not too strong. OK.

2012 bottle poured into pint glass. Light brown color with a 1" white head. Nose is spicy, hoppy, not much in the way of pumpkins. A good autumn beer. Dry with a slightly bitter finish.

9/6/12. 12oz bottle from Grassroots. Clear burnt amber pour with a very small off-white head that forms a small ring and barely laces. Plain, watered-down, spiced aroma with bits of sweetness, gourd, and even a hint of tartness. Sweet gourdy, spiced entrance on the flavor followed by a dash of pennies, more sweetness, lingering spice, and again a lingering dash of tartness. Eh.

Not too bad. Pours an amber color with a pretty small head. This isn’t overly spiced, which is a great change for a pumpkin beer. Tastes like an Oktoberfest which is underneath.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Shaw’s Supermarket at Copley Square, Boston. Pours a very hazy amber orange with a thin-moderate tan head that was gone by the second sip and left very little lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The flavor is similar with the same malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg, with a bit more nutmeg in the flavor than typical spice mixtures. Probably my last pumpkin ale for the season.

Pours an opaque amber/caramel color with a thin tan head. Subdued aroma has light toasty malt and hints of cinnamon and clove. Flavor is more hoppy than most pumpkins...spicy...roasty malt with some pie crust and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is light and lively and the finish is hoppy with cinnamon and very dry. Too hoppy for a pumpkin beer IMHO.

Perhaps my last pumpkin beer for the year. Color was a deeper orange/brown compared to most pumpkin i had. normal all spice nutmeg and cinnamon but definite roasted pumpkin, malt base giving a deeper and less pie like impression. Ok body to it. over all good compared to most.
