COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On Nantucket a Pumple named Drumkin, brewed up some great ale with his pumpkins. One and all came to savor the delicious flavor, then wobbled around quite like bumpkins. At Cisco they thought, "The is De-Lish! Letís make some more because we wish, to please all the tourists, and locals and purists, with the best ale that we can accomplish!"

Clean light amber pour with one finger of spritzy sandstone tan head. Nose is kind of butty, that moist bread thatís a little old smell. Then some spices and shit. Lightly grainy with some grain husk aroma. Flavor isnít even like boringly sweet and pie spicy good. If this beer was going to please any aspect of me it was going to be my baser tastes. Fail.

Was not as impressed as I thought! A little to acidic and the after taste is very bold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Lightly sweet malts, with restrained spices, and fresh bread dough. A hint of hop bitterness peeks through in the finish. Pretty good.

Aroma of slight gingerbread and floral. Pours brown with a nice film. Tastes kind of hoppy with nice floral, bread and slight spice. Tastes like a Bohemian pilsner with pumpkin. I like its moderation.

Aurelius (4657) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 19, 2012
"There once was a farmer-agrarian With a surplus of squashes Hungarian. He mumbled, "My Dear, we must brew some beer that appeals to a dumb vegetarian." So there, label-writer limerick marketing guy. Watch out Vanilla Ice! Perfumy, tannic, lightly spicy, somewhat sweaty aroma. Clear, rusty, red-orange-brown beer, standard US longneck, meh label. Nicely bittered at first, tangy, a bit metallic, not sweet, a bit woody. The bittering broke down to a metallic affair. Overall, blind, I would think this is a rye beer. A little sour fruit in the finish, amongst the long, non-descript hop bitterness. No love from Aurelius. Market Square Liquors, Timberlane.

Clear amber pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is mostly caramel malts with cooked green vegetables and light spices that's mostly nutmeg. Bland sweet malt taste with more spice and almost no hint of pumpkin. Moderate carbonation and medium bodied. Not very good.

TURDFERGUSON (4024) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Orange golden, looks like fall and pumpkins! No head, light carb. Nose is light spice, pumpkin flesh, brown sugar. Flavor is kinda strange. Not overly sweet like some in this style can be, but its very minerally, lightly earthy, with some light salinity. Spicy and light pepper in the finish. Overall very dry.

DocLock (8531) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle from Craft Ale. Pours clear orangy fall foliage color with 2-finger creamy, well-retained off-white head. Nose is pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg. Tastes a bit watery, with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, and a smooth but somewhat uninspiring finish. Comes off like an amber ale with pumpkin extract added.
