COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On Nantucket a Pumple named Drumkin, brewed up some great ale with his pumpkins. One and all came to savor the delicious flavor, then wobbled around quite like bumpkins. At Cisco they thought, "The is De-Lish! Let’s make some more because we wish, to please all the tourists, and locals and purists, with the best ale that we can accomplish!"

Bottle poured an orange amber color with a ring of white foam. Aroma has light spices, faint pumpkin, and some malt. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation medium low. Flavor has mild malts, light pumpkin, and spices. A fairly light beer all around .

Meh...not much going on. Lacking pumpkin flavor an maybe they waved some spices over the brew kettle. Just tasted like a plain old ale. Would not buy again, would not recommend as an example of a pumpkin fall seasonal.

12oz bottle from ABC on betton. Copper pour with thin yellowish white head. Aroma is light pumpkin spice and apple. Tastes are sweet malts, a little of the pumpkin puree - cinnamon, nutmeg - dark fruit, bready. Mineral aftertaste and lightly dry. Ok.

bottle. clear light orange with a small head. malty aroma with very light spice notes. i can taste a pretty good amount of bittering hops in here, like maybe a blonde ale base or something with only a light spattering of spice notes. light body. very clean.

Pours deep clear burnt orange with a fluffy white head that left great lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, caramel and nutmeg. Taste is bitter with spiciness and a sweet finish. Medium bodied. This is a decent pumpkin, it is not overly spiced as so many of this style have become. I did notice more spiciness coming through as it warmed, this added a little bite to the finish.

12 oz. Color is an orange gold color. Small head and light lace. The nose is only caramel malt and all spice. Flavor had good balance between spices and bready malts. This is a spiced beer, NOT a pumpkin. Very light hop presence in the finish. This will not “Whoa you” And don’t say it’s a pumpkin ale because it isn’t!

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly hoppy (grapefruit), with light notes of squash/pumpkin, clove, rose flower water, Listerine. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rather unbalanced in the mouth with a slightly unpleasant aftertaste (overly spiced, I think). Mild aroma is ok but not very enticing and a tad medicinal. Meh.

12 oz bottle from Spirits. Poured a good looking deep orange body with lots of clinging bubbles and an average sized slightly creamy light beige head. Initial aroma was nice with a burst of spice and pumpkin over a brown bread malty background. This quickly changed with grassy hops coming out and then fading back to spice and malts. The body is medium to fuller with aggressive large bubble carbonation that leaves a slight sting in the back of your throat. The flavor isn’t that great, the spice and pumpkin really are dumbed down like pumpkin beer light, brown toast follows and finishes with dry cereal grains and dried out hops. Meh....okay at best.

Single bottle from Total Wine. Clear orange pour with a lasting bubbly head. Aroma is faint - pumpkin and fall spice as expected, but not much at all. Taste is similar - very light pumpkin, a little clove, nothing else. Dry, Metallic finish. Very thin and flat - almost like green tea on the tongue. Did not like this at all.

Copper pour with decent head. Tastes and smells like a saison with hints of pumpkin and spice. Quite good. Doesn’t make the mistake that most pumpkin beers do. It goes easy on the spice and sweetness. It has room for more pumpkin flavor but is good the way it is.
