2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 crossovert (4772) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Herbal scent, hints of punpkin and spice. Flavor is lemony, pumpkin is there, spice. Weird.

Pours a deep orange-brown color with a beige head, there are notes of toasted malts, and a subtle pumpkin flavor. Not bad, but definitely not a pumpkin dominant beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 andyhwcinc (1166) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Purchased at Evolution Wine & Spirits in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home while watching my last Sunday night football game of the year. Appearance is a rather clear dark gold with a thin white head that lightly laces to the glass. Aroma of nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, and sugar. Taste is OK, not the greatest pumpkin ale but not too bad. There are definitely better options out there.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Westmeister (990) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Sampled at Thanksgiving. Pours an amber/brown color with a thin beige head. Aroma is light toasted malts, cinnamon/clove/pie spices. Flavor is the same but almost comes off a bit sourish I suppose due to it being more hoppy than most pumpkin beers I’ve had. Ok
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Draft... Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Great retention. Smells like pumpkin pie spices – plain and simple. Medium to full-bodied and oily with stinging carbonation. The flavor provides a nice balance of sweet, gooey malts and juicy, fresh, savory hops. Finishes crisp and very clean with a kiss of mild, lingering bitterness.

Beautiful color, clear garnet. Quite a fan of the spice aroma on this one, allspice, spicy cinnamon, light nutmeg. Flavor follows with some toasted bread, nice sweetness without being cloying, finish is slightly short and lacking. Overall an enjoyable beer with few flaws that I would certainly drink again. Didn’t know it was 7%... nice! Some light tea like bitterness.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Jow (1416) - New York, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Tap at Stagshead. I was unable to find any info on this brew but waitress said it’s a play on the Pumple Drumkin but withoutbthe pumpkin. So it’s a spiced amber ale I supposed. Pours brownish with no really head. Tastes of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, earth, leather, wood, and licorice. Not overwhelming flavors though and is missing depth. A touch watery with light alcohol finish. Earlier Rating: 10/30/2012 Total Score: 3.5 Tap at Alewife. Pours orange with beige head. Nose of typical pumpkin spicing. This is moderatly spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. You also get pumpkin/squash flavors, mlat, earth, light caramel, and woody. Decent pumpkin for the style

12oz bottle. Copper / light brown color. Aroma of sweet, toasted malts. Flavor of bitter squash rind, some spices, barley malt, toasted grain, herbal hop. Very refreshing pumpkin beer, not over spiced at all.(3729)
