2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from GBBF 2013 drunk at home. How can a 3.8% beer be a premium lager? Oh well. Clear pale ish gold thick lasting white head. Aroma of some very light lemon. Itís a very light lager. More like a UK golden ale than a lager. Not a premium lager at all. Light, easy drinking. Very ale like to be honest. Tastes like an ale yeast. Itís an ok golden ale. Some citrus hop kick on the finish. Mostly lemon and lime.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: clear straw with two fingers of bright white head shrinking to a solid collar and sticky-tight lacing. Aroma: spritzy lemon, green onion, lightly sweet cereal grain, hint of white wine vinegar. Taste: light citrus, hint of sour green apples, a bit of floral hops, then a hint of crackers. Finish: smooth and almost creamy palate gives way to a bit of a watery character, and the delicate sourness lingers. Notes: This was one of the lightest-palated beers Iíve ever had, and the flavors were extremely light as well. The lack of carbonation was pretty unusual and I just canít decide if itís like this because the beer sucks, or if it was a deliberate attempt to make the lightest possible craft lager. I didnít actually think it was terrible, but I donít think I could do it again. The flavors were very weak.

12oz can. Rating #114. Pale and slightly hazy straw yellow pour with a white head. Very mild aroma, light grain and hops. Flavor was similar to the aroma, slight spiciness, almost a wheat spice and a little bread. (2873)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pleasant, malty, APA aroma - not too aggressive on the west coast hops, a little buttery and cereal. Clear, light pine gold; good label, standard US longneck. Spirited - lemony and zippy hops. Medium-light body, crisp without being too fizzy. This is a great summer beer - easy drinking, but with character. ABC Liquors, Betton.
