COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber and spicy brew was originally formulated in 2009, for South End Formaggio. The recipe is a collaboration between the brewers at Cisco and the chefs at South End Formaggio using grapefruit, orange zest, chamomile and plenty of wheat. This beer is brewed with passion and patience letting the citrus slowly infuse in the kettle before bottling. We hope you enjoy this ale brewed exclusively for South End Formaggio and we welcome your comments at www.ciscobrewers.com

22oz Bottle, purchased at South End Formaggio - Boston, MA. Pours a hazy pale golden, with a nice frothy clean white head. Aroma is bizarre, but reminds me of fresh cut fruit, mexican grapefruit candy, and aloe vera. Totally weird, as a result of the spices. Not sure how I feel about it. Flavor tastes like crappy grapefruit soda. Overbearing soap profile. This comes across with a really contrived and artificial citrus flavor. All I can think of is stale mexican candy or bottles of Jarritos Toronja. It’s really light, a bit astringent, and somewhat thin. Mucky. It’s light, fresh and very quaffable, I just don’t enjoy the very forward grapefruit and spice flavor because it comes across in a weird way.
