COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The lager is the lightest, most refreshing of our beers. It's a classic Bavarian style lager with a delicious bready malt palate and an assertive noble hop finish. It just makes your mouth beg for more...
Called Winter Vintage when released during the winter.

12oz bottle poured into glass. For a "summer" beer this has some pretty good qualities such as slight hop bitterness and lemon/fruit zest. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Smells rather sweet & bready. Looks like a pale lager. First taste is rather medium and then the bitterness begins to build. Yz, hop bitterness builds to a medium impact and this is exactly what the finish is; medium lingering hop bitter finish. Quite hoppy for a lager but now I see its a helles. So there, you have it.

Bachelor party beach weekend I had more than a few of these. Pours yellow but I mostly drank from cans. Tastes of grass with a citrus punch. It’s an easy drinking summer session and perfect for this hot as hell 3 day binge

Grainy aroma with hints of malt. Hazy orange color with a large white head. Mild apple malt flavor in the beginning. Gets a light bitter finish at the end.

Can pours a darker gold color with a thick white head. Scent is grains, yeast and fruit. Taste is citrus, malt, and bread.

Light, crisp, and a bit punchy. Very refreshing. Lightly malty with a nice touch of hoppy bitterness that climbs to the finish. Fantastic for a canned beer.

Bottle. A slightly sweet, grassy aroma. Overall a clean refreshing flavor with notes of pear and ginger ale. Nice tight peppery hop bite at the end of the sip. Lightly bodied but not watery. Good session beer

I had this right after enjoying Great Lakes Dortmunder gold. The Cisco isn’t bad however, it can’t wear Great Lakes Jock Strap. It’s to limp and thin. The look is just like every other lager on the planet: piss yellow, not much head to speak of. Smell is mostly lager yeast with mild citrus. Honestly, the flavor is only slightly better than Bud, Miller or Coors. And I know that is an insult but… there just isn’t much going on here. Very thin and boring. Light malt and a touch of citrus is all I get in flavor. Maybe drinking the Great Lakes before it wasn’t fair. Oh well!

Had a couple of these on a booze cruise as part of Plymouth beer day. Aroma has malt and grassy hops. More of the same in the flavor, along with a little citrus. This is just a little better than I expect out of what is usually a boring style.
